Re: NFF “PREPARATIONS” FOR UPCOMING FEMALE NT GAMES

It is time for Ebi to retire. She has done well. Agreed… The WWC should’ve been her international swan song, and the NFF should be helping her transit to coaching. Looks like she’s intent on doing a Musa on us. I expect her to be eased out once our coaching situation is settled. The fact that she's...

Re: OPARANOZIE RETIRES

One of my favorite Super Falcons players. She leaves us with a lot of memories (her outstanding performance the 2016 WAFCON readily comes to mind). My best wishes to her in whatever she chooses to do next.

Re: Kelechi Nwakali…

Just goes to show how trajectories and fortunes have such a wide variation. In fact, I recall reading somewhere back then that even Alampasu was a late replacement for another 'keeper who was the real no 1 for that set. For whatever reason he was dropped, never to be heard of again. Then Wilfred Nd...

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Like I say, so many people only show up when Nigeria is in a tournament or has a big game… Anyone remotely familiar with Nigerian football/sports already know not to expect much from Gusau. Re: Bendel Insurance FC v ASO Chlef :CAF Confederation Cup(1-0) Imade FT

GOOD WIN. The Centreback pairing of Taminu Benjamin and Sunday Anyanwu looks very impressive. Simply Kpom! Yes Insurance are very good defensively . They just need to finish their chances. The return leg in Algeria will be tricky Yep. In addition, some of the changes coach Monday Odigie made in the...

Let that sink in for a minute (all things considered). However, to play our style of football and be successful, we've got to be ruthless in front of goal.

Our ladies made us proud and have no reason to hang their heads. If the NFF can finally do the right things we have an opportunity to build on this performance and truly become a force in the Women's game.

Re: Women's World Cup 2023

So far, Africa has been tremendous in the World Cup. I’m not sure but this might be the first time 2 African countries will be playing in the round of 16❗️ Cheers. This is the first time. A great achievement indeed. Not the first time. Nigeria and Cameroon both went beyond the group stage in 2019 (...

Re: Nigeria vs Canada - FIFA World Cup 2023 (0-0) FT ( Nnadozie saves PK) Red Card Abiodun

Hard fought result for the Super Falcons. Our substitutions came a bit late. I hate the lack of respect that African teams get at the World stage. VAR was called upon when the ref initially missed Abiodun's red card offense, but the earlier stamp on Ohale wasn't reviewed.

Re: Kelechi Nwakali…

For the life of me I cannot understand how Nwakali has just been forgotten, amongst a set of midfielders that are so mechanical apart from Iwobi and Aribo. Surely Nwakali had done enough vs EG to at least be in the SE squads going forward. Surely he would have added to the squad more than the 4 to ...

Re: Osimhen: "Musa is Instrumental To The Team"

I just sense that we miss something about Musa's situation with the team. It is obvious that his value is not necessarily on the field but yet impacts the product on it. It is clear his football skills have faded. I am certain that the manager knows this and that is precisely why Musa rarely gets m...

Re: SE List for Portugal

This is a pretty darn good list if you ask me, based on form - likes of Iheanacho left out appropriately. Good to see Osayi Samuel get a chance as well as the return of Ndah and Ebuehi. Guessing coach wasn't too impressed by Onyedika but Etebo is back playing with new club Aris so hopefully should ...
