Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Devts for 2020-21 Seas
We tend to want to undermine what confidence counts for. Martinez oozes confidence and that translates to his defence. Leno, too tentative sometimes and his display on Saturday should give us all a bit of a worry. Lets hope he settles down and puts in a much more confident display next time. Martine...

Re: WWC - France
...I must say these girls have better football IQ than what we've been watching at AFCON. Watch passing and crossing, and placements, much better than SE show vs Madagasca. Definitely very correct assessment there. As a coach, believe me I would prefer to coach a women's team. They understand and a...

Re: Cameroon has been robbed
Cameroon are actually a good team and could have taken England. Their keeper killed them making that mistake early on, if they had kept it at 0-0 20-25 minutes in, they would have realised they were not playing world beaters. Fair play to England, they do just about enough needed without being over...

Re: Real (1) chopping koboko against Ajax(4). Koboko don kpa
Wiseone, Count me in as one of those that is so nostalgic about that '94 to '96 team, and that is so brimming with joy as I watched this new generation Ajax recreate some of that magic from 25 years ago. Too bad, just like the generation before, they will be raided a la Monaco before our eyes open.....

Re: CITY VS CHELSEA (2019 LEAGUE CUP FINAL) 4-3 PKs
Sarri is a buffoon if he comes out with this 'misunderstanding' nonsense. He was outrightly disrespected and had his pants pulled down infront of the whole world. He was visible outraged and actually realized his coaching staff and captains did not have his back. That is why he almost walked out of ...

Re: CITY VS CHELSEA (2019 LEAGUE CUP FINAL) 4-3 PKs
Completely unnaceptable from Kepa. If Chelsea does not fine and suspend him mightily , then they are not worth being worth called a club. Also Sarri's coaching team is culpable in this. They seem mot to back him up during this incident.

Yes Pa did well today, thank God. Lets hope it stays like that. Southampton and Bounemouth way better than BATE though. If he is called, lets hope he brings the same enthusiasm and leaves the calamitous side at home

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2
The boys played too nervous today. Worrying that no goal came from open play. (own goal doesnt count). Need to improve if we want to make the push for top 4. From what I see, I believe we should be able to develop a measure of defensive solidity to get by, with Socrates, Kos and Nacho. It is our la...

Should Showboating players be kicked off the park..?
There is a lot of talk about the Neymar incident yesterday Against a Strasbourg player. Neymar doing a bit of showboating and got kicked mercilessly by the Strasbourg player. Did he deserve to get kicked? Does anybody have any sympathy for him? Is his showboating different from what someone like Jay...

Re: Trevor Responds to Criticism from the French Ambassador
What do you mean Trevor should have left it alone. I believe he gave enough clarification where he's coming from, when he referred to the French team as the African team. I would be the last person to smile at anything French, but as someone of African descent living in the Diaspora I embraced the F...

A good canvas on which to develop his ideology and blueprint. Chances are few and far between for black managers, Oliseh should grab this and run with it. You cannot dismiss the fact that African players play in European leagues and these leagues have considerable leverage from the mere fact that they pay their wages. Why don't we start by giving priority to and growing our local leagues, making them commercially viable and using locally based players...
