Re: Nigeria vs South Africa (0-0)
Excellent observation. Iwobi is the liability.. leaves a massive hole behind him which the SA are taking advantage of. This guy can’t run to save his life. Very disappointing

Re: Nigeria vs South Africa: 11AM CT, 6PM Nigerian time
Agree with the post on Oseyi. The guy was horrible in the game against CIV I think. Every decision he made was unbelievably poor. I would stick Bassey at Left back and bring in Omeruo at center-back - the same line-up that finished the Cameroon match minus Onuachu. He didnt play against CIV and the...

Re: PESEIRO HEADED TO ZAMALEK AFTER AFCON - owngoal
The report is probably true. He used to coach in Egypt and wasn’t a bad coach there per my Egyptian buddy who knows him and his work.

Re: Pesseiro triggers contract renewal
I remember posting here that Perseiro accepted the paycut shenanigans because AFCON is around the corner and he knows fully well that he will do well given the caliber of players he has. That was the smartest move for him because why leave before a showcase tournament he qualified the team for? He w...

Re: Leke Ojo
That means Finidi George can’t be be trusted. He probably recommend Ojo for selection by Perseiro as he is Enyimba’s coach. We shouldn’t be having issues at all with goalkeepers. Goalkeeper requires good reflexes and athleticism and we have that in abundance in Nigeria.

Re: Leke Ojo
The guy keeps for Enyimba. He can’t be that bad. I think Perseiro didn’t want to throw him into the tournament in the middle of an intense match. If Nwanbili is out of the next match, they will prep him for the Angola game. That would be a better way of introducing him to the tournament. Uzoho looke...

Re: Nwabili's Injury . . .
Why is Uzoho not able to kick a damn ball past the half line? This is stunning for a professional footballer. Wtf was that? He shouldn’t be on the field if he can’t kick a damn ball.

Re: Angola
Did you see how the Angolans finish their chances? There was this sleek finish by Mabululu against Namibia - our players would never have finished the chance like that..Perseiro and the boys will have their work cut out for them against Angola. Also Angola is a boggy team for Nigeria historically. I...

I am happy wee won! But oh man that Lookman finish for the first goal was overall below par to honest. I’m glad it went in but oh man that was poor.

Very disturbing to see. He has no business being in goal. Every kick from him didn’t even make it to the half line. Totally unacceptable

Re: Pissierro is a good coach
Folks think it is a joke making a Naija team score 10 goals unreplied in competitive game - it was even supposed to be at least 13 goals but for missed chances. You cannot achieve such a feat, create so many chances, basically like no other Nigerian team has ever done - in our history, without being...

Re: We made a mistake firing Rohr
This team creates chances unlike Rhor’s team. Stop the rubbish about Rhor. The current coach is miles ahead of Rhor in my opinion. The day the players start converting all their chances or majority of the chances they creat, the tune will change. This is not a coaching problem.

Peseiro is trying to run a tight camp… no leaks Anyways Owngoal is reporting… Nwabali Aina Ekong Ajayi Zaidu Iwobi Onyeka Alhassan Lookman Osimhen Moses Good luck to them….Go Eagles I think dropping Bassey is a mistake for a team that plays on the counter….Ekong and Ajayi have no pace and their rec...

Re: Iwobi dropped?
I’m guessing Yusuf is a rugged Kano boy -way more suited for the immense heat they will face playing at 2pm. That heat will be rough. Lookman and the otbers who did not grow up in West Africa are in for a torture.

Like pls like pls Osimhen may never play at a senior World Cup. If he keeps missing games due to injury and what not, unfortunately his teammates are crap and will never take care of business in his absence. Poor guy.

Re: Live: Zimbabwe 1 vs Our Nigeria 1
These are quite frankly below average players. Such a disgrace to watch. Not sure if coaching is the problem with these set of players. They are also very mentally weak. Iheanacho stopping his run for that Aribo pass sums it up. Mental weakness plus poor quality. A high quality player would have con...

Re: Live: Zimbabwe 1 vs Our Nigeria 0
You guys don’t realize that our group is very dangerous. We historically struggle with Southern Africa team - they play fast one touch football with nimble naturally gifted skillful players. Our group has at least 3 team from that region. Goodbye to 2026 WC. Not with this group of player. Not happen...
