Finidi need to take a look at Igor Ogbu and other young defenders
Ekong, Omeruo, Balogun are getting old. He needs to take a look at Ogbu and Fredericks. Hopefully Brentford can loan Fredericks out on loan so that he can get more playing time.

Re: Suleiman Sani looks like a baller
I would have preffered to have Moses Simon, Osimhen, Sanusi, Aina, Ekong, Omeruo, Onyeka, Chukwuz e and Awoniyi to be a part of the squad. No new players. But that is not the reality. To call me corrupt is not honest.

Re: Suleiman Sani looks like a baller
All of a sudden you are giggly and excited about new players? how much money have they paid you? My philosphy is friendlies are meant to test new players. WC qualifiers is not for that. That has not changed. But what can we do. When players are injured and players are looking for excuse to go on su...

Nwabili Osayi, Ajayi, Bassey, Taminu Onyedika, Ndidi, Iwobi Boniface, Moffi, Lookman This could work. Subs GK: Okoye, Ojo DF- Awaziem, Ikpoku(sp), Sodiq MF- Yusuf, Bashiru, Oluwayonin FW- Iheanacho, Sani, Onauchu Updated squad, I like the depth building. Ikpoku, Sodiq, Oluwa, Sani might not play a l...

Suleiman Sani looks like a baller
This is the benefit of having a coach that lives in Nigeria and has coached in Nigeria for over two years. Peseiro would have never found this player.

Re: Is This REALLY a rash of injuries or Bailing for Summer Break?
Rohr and Peseiro did a poor job building depth. I must say I am excited about the new SE The team is finally building depth. Look at the players from African league that are now in the SE. Ojo- Enyimba Sodiq- Remo Stars Ikpoku- Enugu R angers Sani- Akwa United Nwabili- Chipa United Taminu- Tanzania ...

It doesn't matter but I do think there is a rash of injuries. The only one that is questionable is Tella. Every one else have been injured.

oluwoyin is Onyeka replacement. Sani is Chukwuze replacement. They still need to replace Tella. I would prefer another defendere. Might as well call Leon Balogun. Bring him in for insurance.

Might be the end of his SE career. Nigeria got a lot of players that are fighting for a call up. You have a small window to impress.

The maddam usually decides. The UK is no longer what it used to be. You never know they may prefer France. Lyon might be the best offer.

Re: CAF to decide on Nigeria U-17 AFCON spot after WAFU B semi-final defeat to Ivory Coast
The goal should be about development, not expenses. They should expand it to 16 teams. Add 4 teams with the highest rank based on past performances. Add Nigeria, Ghana and two more teams. How are you get from 10 teams from a 12 team tournament. 3 groups of 4 team. 2nd round is 8 teams. 4 teams is el...

Re: The uninvited 11
Looks like the NFF is trying to save money. They should have invited 25. They went with 23. And are now moving the camp back to Uyo so that the Akwa Ibom govt can pay for their camping. They are also replacing injured players with home based players to save more money. The NFF don't want to pay for ...

Re: CAF to decide on Nigeria U-17 AFCON spot after WAFU B semi-final defeat to Ivory Coast
it takes time to teach young players how to play football. I don't know how any one can attack the footballers when they didn't even go on any training tour. Hurridely brought together. They didn't even have a team until a few days before the tournament. The players IQ is high and they will continue...

Makes no sense. 10 spots from a 12 team competion. They shouold expand it to 16 or 24 teams. Let the boys play CAF.

Gabe Osho is on the provinsional list. They have been trying to call him up. But he has been struggling with injury problems. Taiwo Awoniyi is also struggling with injuries. Already called up Iheanacho, Moffi, Boniface, Onauchu that are fit and playing regularly. Felix Agu is not better than Ikpoku....

Re: Osimhen out of WCQ
Finidi said Nigeria has to come first. You have to be 100 percent commited to Nigeria. Players that think they are big men, doing shakara. Should be dropped. I don't care how good they are. We will go with the players we have.

Re: Osimhen out of WCQ
Some players are doing shakara because they think they are big men. No one is bigger than the team. I hope Osimhen is truly injured. If he is I apologize. If not, he can forget about playing for Nigeria again. I will not call him. I can accept errors in a game. But what I detest the most is big men ...

If he is not injured and just wants a rest. That would be bad. I personally will drop him from future games. if we qualify, he won't go to the WC. No one is bigger than the team.

Re: Probably starting 11 after injuries.
It is a good thing that I can post several lineups. It means Nigeria has a good squad. Even Iheanacho, Tella, Yusuf, Okoye could start. Chukwuze could make it back and also play in the game. Bashiru can play centrally and outwide. Bashiru has added pace to his game. Tella could be the fastest SE pla...
