The Finidi I know is a humble guy. How do you know he is combustible like Oliseh?

Re: Broke NFF and NFF boss was in France on Tuesday.

Hiring Finidi and surrounding him with a strong backroom staff is the pragmatic thing to do at this stage. It is already a mess. It would be less of a mess if you keep a guy that has had two test games with the team and he has been a long term assistant. He knows the players. The key to any manager ...

Re: Broke NFF and NFF boss was in France on Tuesday.

The NFF or some one that works for the NFF visits or read CE. They have now used the BBC guy Oluwakeji to release pictures of the NFF chief posing with Ekong claiming he was visiting players recuperating from Injury. They say he spent a few days in Paris doing the job of a coach. How much do you thi...

Broke NFF and NFF boss was in France on Tuesday.

According to score Nigeria

KOC is saying the new coach will be announced today. He said it is between Finidi and Amuneke. According to his Twitter handle.

What I don't understand is how are they able to afford the trip to Paris?

Re: WHO WILL RESCUE Nigeria from the World Cup ABYSS that a foreign Manager put us?.........

I actually thought about a scenario where a local coach comes in and rescues Nigeria. The WOWO NFF then hires a foreign coach like Renard to take Nigeria to the World cup. It is not impossible for them. They have done it before. I will wish the team the best. Will not watch any matches.

He does make some good points. How can you go from life time ban to 5 years without shearing. He is going to sue for damages. He has a good case if FIFA didn't properly inform him.

I go tell you like i see am. Nigeria faces an uphill task. No coach is a magician. He needs time to build his team.

Don't take up the job if you are not sure of getting result due to the circumstances surrounding the job. There is no excuse! Don't give us any bs excuse if you fail. This is not about national service, patriotism, lack of familiarity with African football terrain (for FCs), NFF unprofessional appr...

Re: Advice for Coach Amunike

Compared to the other coaches that were shortlisted. Amuneke had the best resume.

Amuneke played at clubs like Barcelona. He has won the U17 world cup.
He has qualified Tanzania to Afcon.

The other coaches on the list are journey men failed coaches. Don't believe me, go and look at their CVs.

Re: WHO WILL RESCUE Nigeria from the World Cup ABYSS that a foreign Manager put us?.........

I am actually not going to blame the new coach if Nigeria fails to qualify for the world cup. It takes time to build a team. There are no more minnows in African football. Nigeria has a lot of injuries and the preparation has been piss poor. You don't even have a coach today. They are leaking report...

Colomentality. But they will pay a failed journey man mercenary coach contract but not a local Nigerian man.

Re: Advice for Coach Amunike

Compared to the other candidates. Amuneke is a good selection. Finidi would have been my choice. But Amuneke is also good. My advise to him is to write into his contract that he will be in charge of play selection. Be wary of agebts, There are a lot of agents on CE also that only care about their cl...

He is right though, Local coaches tend to get hired for rescue opportunities. Not given a chance to build a team.

Didn't Obasi miss the U20 final due to injury. ?

He was good when he was healthy. A good player that the coach admired highly. Every one has their favorites.
