Re: Nigeria vs South Africa (1-0) Ekong
SA will win this….
There was no reason to bring on Yusuf….Iwobi had the game under control.
Take off Osayi and bring on Omeruo - it is glaringly obvious….
That’s why, if we need a coach that’s proactive

Totally agree with youdanfo driver wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 7:23 pm Onyeka and Yussuf need to press better.
Unfortunately, we are getting outcoached for fun here, so you can see the SA's strategy on their passing and movement

Re: Nigeria vs South Africa (0-0) HT
1. Iwobi is not getting us forward. 2. Osayi is loosing his positions and allowing SAs to either close him down, or getting behind him 3. Balls are not getting to our wingers enough Nothing to do with Iwobi…. Osayi and Aina are killing us…. Swap Osayi with Omeruo… return Aina to the Right. Osayi is...

Re: Nigeria vs South Africa (0-0)
At the water break, Brooz changed his tactics. Moved Tau to the space between Ajayi and Osayi. And they are dropping over head passes in that space, with their number 9 hanging around for second balls. He did change the press/shape also I think we need Omeruo so he can move Aina to right Can’t agre...

Re: Time to Sack Peseiro Morocco 2-1 Brazil
Really weird that Morocco 🇲🇦 has been KOd from the AFCON and Nigeria is still in it - 1 match away from the final. While we are busy loosing to the likes of GNB and getting hammered by Portugal…Morocco is building and beat 5x World Cup winners 2-1…. Yet we are waiting to unearth our next Messi tomo...

Re: NWABALI being mentioned in high corridors…
Almost every emerging new Nigerian player has been linked with Arsenal in the past. When Etebo, Simon even Sadiq emerged, they were all linked to Arsenal. I guess been linked to Arsenal is like a right of passage for new Nigerian players. I bet Yusuf will soon get his own link to Arsenal after Afco...

NWABALI being mentioned in high corridors…
Brentford, Arsenal in the PL and PSV and Sparta in EREDIVISIE have asked about him…. I am sure others will be asking others….scouts are being sent to watch him in the SF and Final….so I hope that he makes it to the final…..then yours truly will be there… Everyone seems to like his ball distribution ...

Re: Nwabili TAKE A F$%^ing BOW!!!
Love how he berated Iwobi when he lost possession in a very dangerous spot that have the Angolans a rare 1v1 chance against us (which thankfully hit the bar). A premier league proven player like Iwobi should have known better, I know this is a Nwabali appreciation post but the search for a more com...

Re: Nigeria vs Angola (1-0) Lookman HT
The pitch and Sanusi are killing us….we have to be careful that we do not just sit back and defend. This Angolan team has a goal or 2 in them…. We need to counter and get a couple more goals to be safe…. Iwobi has been excellent in the middle…he is keeping Yusuf off the team - the guy is super disci...

Re: Angola
Did you see how the Angolans finish their chances? There was this sleek finish by Mabululu against Namibia - our players would never have finished the chance like that..Perseiro and the boys will have their work cut out for them against Angola. Also Angola is a boggy team for Nigeria historically. ...

Re: Lineup v Angola
The hate for Zaidu is a bit too much on these pages. Only player I would remove is Simon It's not hate, Bassey offers more going forward than Zaidu. So Zaidu out, Omerou takes Basey's position, and Bassey moves to left wing back. Uzoho in for Nwabali, if Nwabali fails to recover. The question shoul...
