Re: Nacho/Ndidi v Man U

He has himself to blame. He had a 3v2 chance and had to simply pass the ball to Vardy. Yet, he fluffed his shot. He cost leicester a goal in such a very crucial game. That daft mentality is unacceptable. People are so over-critical.The chance was entirely created by Kelechi and shooting was a fine ...

That is not the role he is given in the team. He plays as the lone defensive midfielder 90 percent of the time. They aren't really similar players at all.

Re: Iheanacho and Ndidi...

Kelechi was just OK first half, moving intelligently into dangerous positions to cause the opposition, but having a couple poor touches and few tame shots. If Rodgers wanted to remove him for another attacker, it would have been harsh, but made sense.Taking him out so you can bring another DM and si...

Re: Iwobi vs Kele and Ndidi(kele hangs)

Look at the downright harsh critique this dolt gave Ndidi for that penalty...Crazy. I’ll hold back the racist card but this raised my eyebrow https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-player-ratings-everton-4283709.amp He gave Kelechi an 8, ...

Villareal-Mallorca (Chukwueze)

Great start for Chukwuee. Beats his marker on the right hand, bursts into the box and lays a great cross for Bacca to finish. 1-0 Yellow Submarine. Decent match so far.

Re: Real Betis Vs Granada - Azeez Starts

I like Azeez. Tbh, I think his lack of physical size/strength or incisive passing ability meant that he never had the potential to be a true top player, but he is a humble player who works hard, is professional and makes the most of his talents. Dude has made a nice career for himself.

Slightly better version of John Ogu in his prime. Very good addition to the squad. I liked John Ogu, BTW. Don't understand all the hate he got on here. He was a solid & talented pro. Maybe he should have moved on from Israel in his prime. Well my suspicions are probably right then cuz Ogu was n...

Re: Leon Balogun :(

Balogun has always been an average player that has shuffled between the bench and first and also the top division and second division for his entire career. He became a leader for Nigeria and provided stability, but let's not fool ourselves as to who he is as a player. Balogun is a journeyman, who m...

Re: Kelechi Starts v Aston Villa, And Scores!!!!

Kelechi has been atrocious. Not surprised he is removed after 38min. His head was not in the game. Could not control ball, not passing to teammates, bonehead decisions, lazy football. The guys just does not have diversity to his game and his ball control issues persist. Dont think he has the lungs ...

Back to the bench. Rodgers changes shape because the midfield is being overrun and Kelechi is taken off.

    heess baacckkkk! He never went anywhere just wasn’t given a chance. I always thought Kele would fit well in Leicester’s currently playing style with lots of movement and interplay rather than the previous kick and rush style he was struggling with. Mere excuses. I do not think the OP understands what chronological means. If we are ranking chronologically, #1 will be the striker from the first competitive match in 1949.

Like I thought, he only brought Kele on to save the team, when things are going well there’s no place for him in the team. I hope he can find a new home in January. This is the way it has always been at that club for him. He's wasted the chances they have given him, but the boy is really not put in...

Hmm. I want a 3-5-2 with Osimhen and Iheanacho Why him? Why not Isaac Success? Or Awoniyi? Or Sadiq? Or Onyekuru? Just curious. There are so many players that should be ahead of Iheanacho at the moment its crazy to even mention his name. I think a confident, fit version of Iheanacho would...

Re: Nacho to Turkey??

He needs confidence and game time and is at a club that has worked hard to deprive him of both. Besiktas is a good team and it is just a loan to put his career on the correct course. Anyone complaining is foolish. They could loan him to the Championship, but the same people would still be complainin...

Re: Wilfred Ndidi is Nigeria's best player

The guy has the best defensive attributes of any midfielder in the world, imo. Everyone can improve other aspects of their game, but he can play for any side in the world as the player he is today. He would look much better for Nigeria if we had real attacking midfielders and just let him do his thi...

Re: Kelechi not in Leicester match day squad for Spurs game

He clearly still has abilities. Like everyone here says, the last time he played in a match (preseason), he looked fit and was scoring goals, and is still pretty young. Whatever his faults are, this is not a case of someone who has stopped playing and just given up on his career. Maybe Rodgers is tr...

Porque no los dos?

Nigeria has 100's of players to focus on and hope to have successful careers. You don't "move on" from players because others emerge. We can't sell them or purchase new ones like a club.

Re: Kelechi needs to bounce from Leicester

This about the 10th time in his career at this club that he's looked like he was gaining momentum only to be benched and then essentially banished. The club clearly to not trust him or want him at all. Dunno why he couldn't have been loaned abroad or to the Championship. Waste of everyone's time.

Re: Chelsea 1 v Leicester 1

From a Naija perspective, Iheanacho being 2nd choice to Vardy has to be the worst position for any striker ever. Dude never tires and never comes off. Vardy is a great player so I understand, but even the Aguero, Firmino, Aubameyang level players will come off for the last 10-15 minutes just to fres...
