They were probably in the refs ear at half-time so this is just him trying to "balance the books".

Re: US just beat Holland 4-3, in Amsterdam

Watched the highlights.....the US central defense looked pretty shambolic on all three of the goals. They need to sort that out. Michael Bradley had a hand in 2 of the 4 goals....the guy is a stud and would be a solid player in any league. Lots of Germerican players though....even more than before....

Re: Paul Pogba

Pogba has only been playing football professionally for only 3 full seasons basically, yet some of you are critiquing the guy as if he is a seasoned vet.

He's an exceptionally talented and poised young player performing at the biggest stage of football. He hasn't even fully developed as a player yet.

It's becoming increasingly hard to make an argument against this. If he manages to get a World Cup trophy before he retires, then it would pretty much be a done deal.

Re: Lionel Messi

13 goals behind Ronaldo in November now they are both on 30 goals. Giving Ronaldo that Ballon d'Or really woke him(Messi) up and now its quite clear who is a better player amongst the two. Messi is a better player any day...take away the goals CRon scores,he becomes just an average player. So you g...

Re: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW ROUND OF 16

Have watched football pretty sparingly in the past few months, but I must say that Barca look close to where they were 3 or 4 years ago; just absolutely another level.

Teams like Man City have a long way to go before they reach this kind of football.

Willian is one player Chelsea did not need.
Chelsea should have kept De Bruyne.

At 23 he's more polished than Willian.

Re: ELClassico Real vs Barca(3-1)

Main issue for Barca is that Xavi and Iniesta are no longer in their respective primes.

They should have kept Thiago or gone for David Silva whose contract was up at Man City.

Re: ELClassico Real vs Barca(3-1)

Barcelona should have tried to hold on to Thiago (and probably Cesc). Rakitic doesn't seem like a comparable replacement for either Xavir or Iniesta who are no longer in their prime.

Re: QPR 2 V 3 LIVERPOOL

I dont know why Rodgers benched Coutinho. He is one of Liverpool's key players IMHO!! Because Sterling is a better player than him centrally, and that's where he is most effective. Sterling better than Coutinho? Come again? In the central attacking midfield role, Sterling is better than Coutinho.
