Re: What a double whammy for Brazil
Brazil qualified easily. Then cruised through the group stages. HIstorically, S. American teams that have it so easy do NOT win. But those that struggle to qualify and grow into the tournament, win the WC. Argentina stumbled against Saudi Arabia. We’re bruised by Mexico at the group stage. Then Aus...

Re: Africa is not good at football
Morocco makes it to the quarter finals but Africa is still terrible at football. Morocco is not a typical African team, far from it. They’re closer to the Euro style of management than the Nigerian, Cameroonian or Congolese style. Nigeria and Cameroon for all their so called "African management...

Re: [WC 2022 R16] JAPAN (1) Vs CROATIA (1)...CROATIA WINS 3-1 IN EXTRA TIME PKs
A semi final slot is no way guaranteed for Brazil if they face Croatia. They will have to bring a very serious A game and be clinical. Missing chances against Croatia is dying a slow death. They know how to handle football exuberance and deal with teams that are up for it  Hard to beat. They h...

Re: Africa is not good at football
we need to nominate countries in Africa to represent us, we need to look at the pool of players in each country, we need to see what country presents our chances of a credible challenge, that means Nigeria, Cameroon or Ivory coast from west Africa, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt should hold the mantle ...

VAR plus referee won the game for Portugal, was a shame VAR did not take a look at Ronaldo dive, sorry African teams are not it, will take another century for us to get our act together, we just cannot compete at this level, no matter how much we try, we come ill prepared to every major tournament,...

Re: Wafcon 2022: Nigeria women boycott training in bonus row
This will sadly continue for a long time. The NFF cannot be dependent on the government for funding player bonuses. It is either they have enough private sponsorship that can pay what they can afford to pay as bonuses or same of same. FIFA does not want government interference. Why should governmen...

LOL. Jokes aside, you make some good points and those points reflect my thoughts exactly when I first opened this thread hoping to read about a REAL HISTORY of Nigeria's colors that goes back to the first Nigerian team of 1949. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Nevertheless, let me share the mu...

Re: Benghazi Sign Ndifreke Effiong On Three-And-Half-Year De
Libyan league is far richer than Nigeria inspte of the insecurity in the war torn nation.. Akwa United FC will earn around $150k from this move.. Convert that to Naira and see if there is any NPFL club that can pay .. He will also be on around $10k per month with better exposure in CAF tournaments....
