Re: NIGERIAN FANS ATTACK IWOBI ONLINE

It's really unfortunate.
I think they are just looking for a scape goat to vent their frustrations on.

I actually thought that Iwobi did quite well overall, in this competition, considering the fact that he was given a newer role than he's used to.

Re: Failure of individual events have lost their sting for me

When I was young every individual incident that happened in Nigeria, would be like a fresh sting. I remember 2005 on my birthday when my dad told me we didn't qualify for the world cup, it made me damn near depressed. But to be honest, I've stopped seeing failures in Nigeria, footballing and otherw...

They thoroughly deserved their win. Give credit where it is due.

Re: The Last Ref In our South Africa Game was Sneaky Bad

I think the var actually made one mistake. The challenge on Terem Moffi should have been a penalty not a free kick. "any foul that initiates outside the box and continues till the box will be punished with a penalty" The video replays clearly showed that the South African defender not onl...

Re: William Troost-Ekong -- Captain, my captain!

Captain, my captain! Ekong's leadership in this team has been nothing short of stellar. His leadership qualities plus his situational awareness are exceptional and laudable. And his situational awareness is not just about things directly related to the match at hand alone but also in relation to hu...

Troost-Ekong took his tally to four goals at the Afriica Cup of Nations and equaled the legendary Stephen Keshi as the topscoring Nigeria defender in the competition. Listen to what King Ekong said about King Yobo. We are all one big royal team. He should get his coaching certificate quick quick and come and take over the team once he retires. Re: William Troost-Ekong nearly retired, but now leads Nigeria's AFCON renaissance

Would make a wonderful story if he led them to the cup

King EKong has been a true leader to the younger lads in the SE in this competition. He has also been rock solid in that defense.

I sense a certain resolve from the team ..
They look like they're on a mission.

Wishing them the best.

But Semi didn't receive the ball directly from a teammate Watching the highlights, there was a Cameroon player defending the goal posts for the goal ruled offside? Re: Who Remembers 2004 vs Cameroun?

That was a good win against a solid camerounian side. l remember how it felt like forever for Utaka's shot to go in Honestly, no matter the number of our wins against them, it still feels like we've not issued them enough bitterness to compensate for their final wins against us - Especially CAN 2000...
