Re: We can beat CIV
Anything can happen when it comes to Nigeria vs CIV. Our players will be fired up for it.
The perceived gap was even bigger between their star-studded "golden generation" and Keshi's new team in 2013. But we defeated them.

Always good to see your confident posts when the going is good Wrawlings. The problem is your pussycat attitude of always running away when reality dawns  :taunt: Rawlings no get shame. Cameroon was a participant in all of them. They were just not good enough to make the jamboree itself.bamenda boy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 11:09 pm Another interesting fact.
Nigeria has never won an AFCON when Cameruin was a participant.
1980 - eliminated by Guinea
1994 - eliminated by Gabon

Re: Another Injury in Super Eagles Camp? Sadiq Out! Paul Onuachu Called Up
Lol People still trying to downplay 25 players Dame people who defend Musa and the criminal NFF. No big deal, so why is it only NIGERIA who is doing this of all the big teams. This is just daft and there is no excuse. Yes it is like having 5 subs and not using them, even when things are not working...

Re: Sadiq OUT of AFCON tournament, Onuachu called up
I am really not understanding you guys that say not taking advantage of the 27 player limit is not a mistake. I mean look at the Moffi scenario for example. He could have been in camp blending with the others, but he has been forced to wait until he is available. Same with Onuachu. The SE have look...

Re: NFF and shortsightedness
So the budget for the 2 extra players will be spent in Dubai on a shopping spree  then they will lie and say "Pissero only wanted 25" Do they think we are that stupid ? Nigeria, the only big football nation in Africa to be pulling this nonsense at the afcon. Just a few years ago,...

He ain't lying! Not even close. :thumb: What we need from him now is to leave that studio and start coaching before he loses credibility like Oliseh. The only thing he has over Kanu is the AFCON win that Kanu never got, but then Kanu got an Olympics win. Other than that, Kanu blows him away. Look a...

What football games do they show on Nigerian TV stations?
I'm shocked SE games are not televised live by a mainstream channel.
EII might be onto something.

From the clips posted, I would say he is at least better than Uzoho. He should be invited to compete for the position with local options from the NPFL. Uzoho and Okoye have nothing more to contribute to the SE.

Re: Did Henry Onyekuru Actually Refer to Nigeria as...
Poor judgement by Onyekuru to post that on social media. Many Nigerians have probably said worse things in private or even publicly. I wouldn't blacklist him from the national team solely for that comment. If I were in the NFF leadership, I would have a frank talk with him though and encourage him ...

Re: Zimbabwe was Cheated.
You’ve got to go back to the point at which the pass to the back of the defense was made. It was a good run, but the passer hesitated which led to offside. I see your point. He looked like he may have been offside when viewed from the angle of the camera, but we can only be sure when the action is ...

The Zimbabwean defender in the middle just about kept Simon and Boniface onside. Boniface did step back onside before the shot, so he had that awareness.

Re: Rwanda vs SA (2-0). Lesotho vs Benin (0-0)
Phew! We always suspected South Africa would drop points away from home, and I'm relieved to see they’ve not improved in that respect. This puts us right back in the mix. I don't really see Rwanda as a threat. In normal circumstances this group should have been a walk in the park for us, but our hom...

Re: From a trusted NFF source
I joined a Twitter space hosted by a key member of the NFF and here's the situation report on where they are regarding Pisseiro and here are the vital takeaways: NFF currently don't have the money to pay off Pisseiro, but consultations with the Sports minister are ongoing on the next decision to be...

Re: FT: Zimbabwe 1 vs Nigeria 1
Just saw the goal, that's purely the keeper's fault. From that distance, a keeper should be keeping that out. Uzoho seems to be flat footed. Yep. I'm surprised people here are saying most keepers would concede that goal. That would have been an easy parry for most good goalkeepers. Uzoho made it lo...

Re: MICHAEL OLISE IS APPARENTLY SWITCHING TO ALGERIA
We don't need him. Guys with the same footballing background as Osimhen, Ndidi, Iheanacho, etc, are the future of the SE. We need to develop them at home and only augment the team with 1 or 2 outstanding players born abroad. We should NOT be chasing every foreign-born Nigerian who managed to get in...

Re: Uzoho has to go!
I was a big supporter of Uzoho 6 years ago, as he left the ASPIRE academy and was on the books of Deportivo la Coruna. We had to take a chance on him at the World Cup due to the GK situation at the time . The highlighted is just a cooked up narrative, a big fat lie. We didn’t have a goalkeeping sit...

I told you guys we should have been looking for another keeper after Uzoho let that goal in against Ghana. Even Ezenwa wouldn't have conceded that soft goal. That fact he is still here shows we're not serious.
