Paul Onobi 5 He was hardly visible throughout the 90 minutes. He will need to step up going forward if he is to impose himself in the middle of the park. And yet he was still rated a 5? Are you kidding me?? What kinda rating is this :???: And by the way, it looks like all the Igbo players were rate...

It's against Niger, guys. They played well but let's not go overboard ... it's early days yet. They are yet to be tested.
Talk to me after they win the tournament ... then we can talk.

Re: Age Cheating Holding back African Teams - CIES Report
This is no news...we've been saying this on these pages for years. I personally think bone scans were the best thing to happen to Nigerian soccer in 20 years. By age cheating, we simply hurt ourselves... That's a very simplistic way of looking at the issue. I can tell you, without any fear of contr...

Re: Reps pass bill to break monopoly of DSTV
The bill ONLY passed second reading. There is no MONOPOLY in pay TV in Nigeria . Yes, there is. A cable provider should not have the right to monopolize some channels. Here in the US, you can get any channel simply by selecting the package....that has nothing to do with the cable provider you decid...

Re: NACHO STARTS! SCORES
Some of you are just uneducable! Iheanacho played as a playmaker today. He played the David Sylva role, with Aguero as the target man and Sterling and Navas as the two wide men. Anyone talking about "support striker" is just living in the Stone Age. Neither Man City or Nigeria play 4-4-2 ...

Re: NACHO STARTS! SCORES
Anytime they call him he is always on point. Yet they put him on the bench. And you still wonder why I have never rated Pellegrini as a good coach? The man is useless. He kept playing big names: Sterling, Navas, even Nasri (before he picked up injury) and left a solid young player, Nacho, on the be...

Re: Musa Yahaya joins Portuguese 2nd division side Portimone
Congrats to him. IMO, he has the talent to get himself out of the 2nd division. Trust me , he would need more than talent! Talent is aplenty in Portugal! Thank you! I have been telling them that it takes more than a talent to succeed at the highest level, but some peeps just don't get it. Once you ...

Re: I am very UPSET. Where is NIGERIA ???
Our refs may not be very highly rated but they are definitely good enough to officiate in CAF tournament, based on the quality of the officiating I have seen on those tourneys. However, this has not been a priority for our NFF. They are too busy stealing money to care about ways to promote our foot...

Re: New Minister, new promise to fix the National Stadium
I saw the stadium from the outside the other day. From a structural point of view, it looks good but I am sure it needs major work... We went in there a couple of months ago. The entire place is a hot mess. I will vote to tear it down and reconstruct something from the scratch. It's lack of mainten...
