Any particular reason?
Because it's what they are used to. At least that's why I'm no.
My instinctive reaction is 'No' too, but I'm asking what my reasons are.

Lovely pitch, but is it grass?
Which stadium is it?
This can’t be the TB stadium the SE played on barely 2 weeks ago.
If it is then the rain really destroyed the surface that day.
This pitch looks very impressive.

Re: GARBA LAWAL: "Don't Turn Super Eagles Into Dumping Ground....."

Unfortunately for those, including yours truly and Garba Lawal, who think there is a visible crack in the SuperEagles’ armor, it is hard to make a strong and serious case when the team has performed and is performing relatively well. Until Rohr falls flat on his touche, it will be difficult to appr...

Re: IF a Nigerian was the current SE coach he would have been fired

A golden bronze plus a 2nd round WC exit will better Rohr's record. A golden silver plus first round WC exit will better Rohr's record! There is nothing is Rohr's performance that is much better than Amuneke's own considering the talents and the support both had. Nigeria may not have the undisputed...

Re: IF a Nigerian was the current SE coach he would have been fired

You can better his record if you lose in the final You don’t honestly believe that Mahrez missing that last minute free kick and the SE going on to beat Algeria on penalties that day would have made one jot of difference to today’s narrative? “Not good enough” “Another moral victory” “Golden silver...

Re: RE: Maduka Okoye (GK) Reviews

Anyone saying goalies don't get beaten near post has never played football in goal before. As a former youth goalkeeper, the game is not played exactly as you guys see on TV, its a lot more dynamic than that, remember goalkeepers have their back to goal so unless you are coming from behind goal or ...

Interesting discussion. All I might add is let’s not forget the mental factor. Not just the conscious but also those personality traits that allow us handle stress and anxiety; the inevitable ups and downs; the confidence, self-belief, self-control, determination, aggression and all those elements ...

I do not get some of you guys. Why have sentiments towards a coach? That is one of the highest turnover jobs on this planet. We've let many managers go and we've won AFCON . qualified for WCs etc Chelsea , Real etc do change managers and they win big...instead you people are promoting mediocrity . ...

Re: IF a Nigerian was the current SE coach he would have been fired

I will be shocked IF Amuneke is not able to better Rohr's achievement with the SE given the same 'support ' from the NFF! The “Hol’on first, your salary is soon coming ’’ support, right? Or is it the “You must invite this quota of local players ” support? Or the “ Play this veteran player ” support...

Re: IF a Nigerian was the current SE coach he would have been fired

How does Amuneke “deserve” a chance? On what basis? Don’t get me wrong. I love the guy but that is just sentiment. So what qualifies him to take charge of the Nigerian snr NT, other than the fact that he is a Nigerian? In most professions, before you get hired not only do you have to show your qual...

Someone insinuated covertly that Rohr’s hiring had to do with more than just football. There’s plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest that is true❗️ Cheers. So what did you hear? What we remember is that he wasn’t the first choice. Some other dude turned down the job at the last minute. So I ...
