Re: This Is Why Real Madrid Wants To Sign Victor Osimhen 201
Still a very raw player.
Pluses - Long legs, strength, power, good ball control
Negatives - Average positioning, Not quick

Re: Lille Confirms Liverpool Interest on Osimhen.
Klopp would more likely seek a backup to mane or Salah than firmino. I suspect Klopp is looking at Adama Traore or Dembele or Chukwueze than Osihmen.

1) Iheanacho would probably be sold by Leicester
2) Chukwueze would probably be sold by Villareal to Chelsea or Liverpool

A game against the Netherlands would be good as would a game against France.

Mikel could have been so much more. He could have been another Socrates of Brazil who was a midfield general but Mikel settled to play DM and make money. If you want to see how influential Socrates was:

Re: Defensive frailties no one appears to have picked up
Frankly the problem with the defence is Ekong. He does not know how to marshall the back line nor is he solid enough. The backline just does not know how to deal with crosses and every team is taking pot shots at them. We should look for replacements for Ekong, Ajayi and Awaziem they are all C-type ...

Re: Iwobi Is My Rightful Replacement Not Aribo - Mikel Claim
Mikel is not a proper number 10. In 89 games he scored just 6 goals for the SE. Contrast with a real number 10 like JJ Okocha who scored 14 goals in 73 matches. Alex Iwobi has already scored 7 goals in 40 matches for Nigeria.

Re: Mikel obi Vs Ndidi
Ndidi is a better midfielder. Ndidi at 22 is already a world class defensive midfielder at a club without too many stars. Do not be surprised to see him soon at either PSG or Man City or Barcelona or Real Madrid or Liverpool. His trajectory is up. Meanwhile Mikel was a decent but not standout DM for...

Mourinho doesn't need osihmen. Mourinho likes bigger experienced strikers. He will beef up the midfield and defence. He might go for Ndidi.

Re: Central Defenders OMG
He ain't wrong. The entire backline sucks imho. Rohr needs to be looking for replacements for Ekong, Ajayi and Awaziem.
Ola Aina should be tried out as an option in the central midfield. He is not strong enough defensively as a wing back. Any fast player burns him out wide.

Re: Chukwueze: Madrid & Barca's low cost alternative to repl
Nigerian players generally do not develop the rest of their game. They stagnate when the money flows in. Those African players that do are rewarded. Look at how Mane, Salah refined their game and are playing at the top level. Chukwueze is very young and should take a tip from players like Etoo. Etoo...

Re: Game Stats, Rohr and 5 other things
BRAZIL WAS IMPOTENT FIRST HALF BUT CHANGED STRATEGY After Brazil tried to dribble and make runs into the box and largely failed thanks to the great defensive midfield cover of Ndidi and Aribo, they switched to attacking Nigeria from out wide and largely succeeded. Brazil hit the post twice and force...

Re: ROHR IS A POOR, POOR COACH
I watched the match. Brazil hit the post like 3 times and missed sitters like 2 times. The first half Nigeria did ok until Brazil put pressure in the second half. They went wide and crossed the ball in and the Nigerian backline looked like novices because they had no clue how to defend crosses. I th...

Re: Match observations Nigeria v Brazil
I think Etebo should be tried at LB position. Also Bonaventure might make a good replacement for Kalu and should have started instead of Moses Simon. The weak point of this game was the central defense. Their positioning was awful and Ekong is not it. The Brazilians could have scored three goals fro...
