Re: Korea vs Senegal
I just saw the head to head records and this does not compute. The video is from 2009 when Senegal lost in a pre 2010 World Cup friendly.
Senegal won the friendly and they will be fine in the World Cup.

A last minute closed door friendly won't do any harm as it will help our guys get ready for the big time.

Re: England v Costa Rica
I'm not hyping England or think that they will win the World Cup but to be honest they look like a team. Good chemistry and an identity that the players are on board with.
I think with time we will solidify our own identity. We just need continuity.

Re: Eight players who should be dropped after the World Cup
Mikel and at least one senior player that is good enough needs to stay so that we can have some form of leadership and continuity in the team. Also it will help prepare nwakali prepare when he comes of age and eventually takes the #10 shirt from Mikel.

Re: Eight players who should be dropped after the World Cup
I agree with all except for Mikel and I would also add Ighalo to that list. I think we need to move forward with Iheanacho, Simy, and Sadiq Umar.

Bold Predictions for the World Cup
What are your bold predictions for the World Cup? Here are mine: - All 5 South American teams will advance from the group stage - 3 African teams will advance from the group stage for the first time - Panama will score 1 goal - Russia will finish as the worst performing World Cup host since South Af...

Re: TUNISIAN GK Fakes Injury to Break Ramadan Fasting....
Huh?! Since are discussing Tunisia, I am baffled by the highlighted... Are you suggesting that Tunisia’s Muslim coach drop his entire team for observing the tenets of Islam? Meanwhile, while I never intended to cite how one team prevented another from scoring (irrelevant IMHO - albeit our own non-f...

Re: Nigeria's JMO-Sized Tactical Conundrum
People need to make off the ball runs or show up for him to pass it immediately.. The movement from the forwards was largely non-existent. That is my biggest problem with this team. Very similar issue man united have as well. We have too many forward players that expect the ball to be fed right at ...

Re: TUNISIAN GK Fakes Injury to Break Ramadan Fasting....
Ramadan ends before the WC starts... Accordingly, there would be no need for such a request. Nonetheless, it’s a very personal decision, and for many people (not just the footballers themselves but also arguably the larger part of “their country [and] the Muslim world”) devotion to their religion a...

Re: TUNISIAN GK Fakes Injury to Break Ramadan Fasting....
I think people here don't realize that athletes, especially for the world cup can talk with an Imam to be approved to not fast during a time like the World Cup which would be representative of not only their country but the Muslim world when it comes to footballers. I understand that they want to re...

Re: Kelechi Iheanacho to West Ham?
While I think Pellegrini is a good coach and supported Kele, I think what Kelechi needs is stability and as unstable as you think Leicester may be right now, if things go wrong at West Ham they will be even more unstable. West Ham since they moved into their new stadium has been toxic and if he does...

Re: Which of the England squad is good enough to make the Ea
So in essence, we are a bad team or a good team that lacks world class individuals? Our sum is greater than our individual parts. England have more talent than us, we can't deny that, even with some of the quality they lack in the midfield, their attackers are still top notch and probably in the to...

Re: Which of the England squad is good enough to make the Ea
If Victor Moses hadn't switch allegiance, he probably will be on that list. It's easier to answer the reverse. How many Eagles can stroll onto Southgate's England team? Mikel, Ndidi?, Vic Mo and maybe Iwobi. Did I leave out anyone? Iwobi? Only Ndidi and Victor Moses. Who will bench Iwobi? And...

Re: Which of the England squad is good enough to make the Ea
I think you need to analyze the positions and if you do you realize that individually that many of our players wouldn't even make it into England's squad. Goalkeepers: Plainly speaking, none of our goalkeepers are at the level of the goalkeepers of the current England Squad. Uzoho could get to that ...

German squad https://www.dfb.de/fileadmin/_processed_/201805/csm_167667-Kader_WM-Pokal_1360x765_cbe8c8ac7b.jpg the big surprise is the omission of Wagner (Petersen was nominiated instead). This makes a lot of sense. I really hope that our lineups are close to this.
Especially that England match where Croatia will really be watching us.

Re: Nacho v Ighalo . Who starts?
absolutely no way can both Nacho and Ighalo start against Croatia. That is suicide. Not true. We could play the following formation .........Mikel ...............Ndidi ...................Iwobi Nacho........Igalo......Moses And defeat Croatia IMHO That would be suicide as Nacho can't play on the win...

Re: Nacho v Ighalo . Who starts?
absolutely no way can both Nacho and Ighalo start against Croatia. That is suicide. Croatia has one of the best midfields in the world. We need to play Mikel, Ndidi, and one of Joel or Etebo, Onazi. This is not negotiable IMO. We need a strong midfield. After Mikel we need 2 guys who will run their...

He is good with the ball at his feet but needs to work on his finishing and consistency. His best position is a #10, not a winger and should play as such for us in the WC competing with Mikel or moving Mikel into CM.   Iwobi is Nigeria's true out and out #10. Congrats. He deserves a lot of credit for this. I think if he can find owners he can work well with he can find another job.
