Re: Crystal Palace interested in Raphael Onyedika and Wilfred Ndidi
^^^ Young, hungry, coaches with quality footballing philosophy plenty (we see the examples of De Zerbi, Alonso, Motta, Glasner) instead of NFF to do proper recruiting to find similar options, they settled for Finidi. May God help us! Can you tell us what the ones you listed have achieved comparativ...

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern
Una funny well well, RM stopped playing as soon as the flag went up and ref blew , if they had not stopped playing what was the guarantee Bayern scores ? Make una leave stone chop rice , RM get winning coded into their DNA . That is what I find amusing. This assumption that Bayern scoring was someh...

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern
Both ruined the game and gave it to Madrid That's harsh. Tuchel's game management decisions played a bigger role in Bayern's loss in the dying minutes. Also, if the AR had not misled the ref and no whistle was blown, Madrid's defense would not have switched off thus a Bayern goal was not a guarantee.

Re: Real Madrid vs Bayern
Problem was the AR. It did not look offside And the AR seems like he knew he messed up as he stayed back to explain himself to the players... Exactly! That I completely agree with. The referee saw a flag up and he blew his whistle for offside. The AR was the one who messed up big time and should ha...

Wait till the armchair critics come and tell us that's only because Drogba is smaller than Victor.

Re: 26 WCQ - Have we fumbled?
Colo mentality is real. Some one need to ask him how many players from the Diaspora play for Senegal and his Cisse an indigenous coach? Still shaking my head. No wonder Nigeria football or Nigeria in general is in a bad state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P47m5pmGLdQ&t=646s Thanks ohenhen. A...

Re: 26 WCQ - Have we fumbled?
The logic behind hiring a coach after wasting the two friendlies has to be the dumbest move ever. NFF wants a foreign coach based on inside report and do not plan to make Finidi the longterm coach for the qualifiers. But yet, they have Finidi managing the two friendlies. Just let that shitzs sink i...

Re: Alex Iwobi to retire from the SE?
Did he actually say he was retiring or are people reading into his social media activities more than they should . Dude may just be taking a social media break In any case its not uncommon for players to indicate their retirement after a tournament disappointment only to come back to the fold . I r...

Re: Nigeria vs CIV (2pm CT, 9pm Nigerian time )
The success of this Afcon has made this a massive massive game. Is it usually this big or its because we haven't been in the finals for years. It's a number of factors including the world being more connected thanks to social media apps, more African team members having dual roots that helps genera...

Thanks theDunamis. Excellent write up. However, I have to own my $#% :) I am one of those "wishy washy" fans who thinks he's past it. My opinion was based on watching him play for the SE live at Dallas. He was wish washy. I also followed his club career and watch his games. He doesn't see...

Re: So good players exist in NPFL?
Both of you are confusing quality with talent . Talent is not enough We have ALWAYS had the talent... There are no decent clubs in the NPFL. Some of them like Remo are making efforts, but its not nearly enough and the overall environment outside their control remains very poor. I believe the highli...
