Re: MANU GARBA : NIGERIA HAS TO WIN THIS 2019 U17 WC
https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Manu-Garba-1.jpg This is the first time in the history of this U17 WC championship where a trail of age cheating accusations didn't follow us around. So far our MRI'ed Youngsters have done us proud. We have dominated the opposition like we always did ...

Re: U-17 World Cup: Nigeria's late rallies mask deeper issue
I partially agree with the writer. I believe he is right we have some dependence on physical ability which has helped our team and also doing massive attack and massive defense. For an experience team or at a higher level, we can get punished big time and not recover. Manu Garuba has always gambled ...

Re: Ola AINA Injured
Awaziem Played RB ( at the ACN) better than everyone else I have seen in that position for Naija since Olubayo. He actually did better at the RB, than he has done at the CB for Nigeria IMHO. I am thinking he should be our first choice RB, unless we find a better option.

Very lovely piece. That was when college/University football was at a high level to have deserved a friendly with the national team. May Allah forgive Rasheed Yekini and grant him paradise.

Don't let's get carried away. He was just okay in my own opinion. He did messed up a couple of moves too, but was much better and effective than Moses Simon.

Re: I fail to see any leadership in the Eagles post-Mikel
And how did Arsenal produce Adams? Is there a system in place that allows leaders to come to the fore or did George Graham merely look for the bus conductor with the loudest voice in Ojuelegba. Contradiction after contradiction, in order for leadership, there needs a system that teaches and trains ...

We won AFCON in 2013 and got to 2nd round WC 2014. I guess this is rebuilding to win another AFCON and probably get to Quarter Finals in 2022 WCkalani JR wrote:We've been rebuilding since 2002 when will we start winning?

Re: Shaqiri joins Liverpool from Stoke that Etebo just joine
Etebo is an average player at best. I don't know why people get carried away with players that hustle but have limited skills and intelligence. For me, Etebo is no different from Ighalo- they are not good enough for SE. Rohr should have used Iwobi instead of Etebo in our last two world cup matches, ...

Re: EBUEHI calm, creative, strong and commander
That penalty was on Omeruo. Boneheaded pass in the area with that Iceland player lurking.mi fault Omeruo far mor than EBUEHI. He should have never been put under pressure Luke that. I totally agree with you on this one. It was all Omeruo's fault. Ebu wasn't expecting he would pass and sudden saw th...

1010156854314438657 Good strong midfield. Scoring chances will come; Kele and Musa MUST NOT miss. Omeruo adds to the steel at the back for the set pieces to come. Go Super Eagles!! Only weakness is Musa up top. Iwobi combines better and strikes better. Agreed. I don't understand how a player like I...

Re: NIGERIA 0 vs CEZCH REP 1 (1H)
If we use Ighalo as our main striker, Nigeria is done KPOM! finally, someone sees this too. Ighalo is the only strike Nigeria has that does not score goal for us. People should ask themselves our many goals Ighalo has scored for Nigeria SE in how many starts. Musa, Moses, Iheanacho and Iwobi have p...

Re: Moses and Mikel are our only two world class players
Moses is starting games for Chelsea because of the system Conte prefers not because he is world class. Other than that I agree with most of your points, especially (6). Only Mikel can be compared to those legends. The likes if Iwobi, Iheanacho doesn't fill me with much confidence. They will crumble...

There are no medals for 2nd place. If you don't qualify you don't get a second bite of the cherry, instead you get a remote control and watch on tv like everybody else.. I hope you realise there are not that many remote controls in Accra and Kumasi. They threw them at the tv! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :...

Re: My line-up for the Nov 6 match against Algeria
Friendlies are meant to test new players. The Algerian game is a friendly. The starting 11 shouldn't be invited with the exception of Ezenwa. When will the likes of Alampasu, Agu and Aina get game action? What if a starter gets injured in a meaningless game?. We have to learn how to plan properly i...

Re: So how did Moses Simon become a good crosser of the ball
Moses Simon is definately a squad player, who should most likely be Russia bound, a good bench option, but in no way a starting 11. He does put in a good defensive shift though, so he may be a starter if we are playing a top team and we want good defensive cover on the flanks, but if we want a crea...

Re: Cameroon is out!!
If we're going to call up new players, they have to be playing at the top level, or a potential young world class player. Most of our English born players would definitely be interested in playing at the World Cup. We have World Cup bait and also players like iwobi, aina, moses are friends with tho...
