One thing I can say with all certainty is that Nigerias problems will NEVER be solved by people who blame an 18 year old for making some poor contractual decisions. You people may have good intentions but you cannot contribute to solving the problem. Please focus on lesser problems So please leave t...

And to those Nigerians who say Shittu is in the wrong here, nobody has shown any proof that Shittu is holding Obi hostage. What you are asking Shittu to do is to conceed to racist manipulations by the Europeans. We all love football but is foorball so imporant that we must continue to submit to raci...

The fact remains that something doesn't smell right with the whole saga. Think about it. Apart from the fact that the likes of Fabregas and Messi are carving their names in stone while the truth about Mikel is yet to suffice, I can't stop thinking that a white kid would not be treated the same way....

I do not agree with you. The reason this case is dragging out so long is that Obi's contract with FC LYn Oslo was expressly written to conform to the labor legislation in Norway. The contract is a standard NFF contract which states that all internal disagreements shall be decided by Football's own ...

If we have a good winger yes we can use wing play but at the moment we have nobody- and I mean natural-on the wings for SE. At last WYC our squad had wingers, abwo on the right and the other guy(which I can't remember his name), in some games and it worked effectively. There is no reason we have to ...

Seriously on Brazil's & Nigeria's use of wing-play
Maybe I'm missing something but we have all seen how Brazil uses the devastating impact of wing-play from wing-backs Cafu & Carlos to both penetrate & spread out the field for the benefit of their skilled inside players like Ronaldino, Ronaldo, Rivaldo ... Why is eagus not doing the same. We...

And I have always said that if anyone is most to blame for allowing this issue to fester for so long, it's the snivelling cowards at FIFA. And like I have also said before, FIFA authority over labor cases (make no mistake this is a labor/civil-rights case) is not well grounded internationally from a...

was just thinking why Martins was so under-utilized at ANC
sorry I'm late with this thought but what was Eguavons plan in Egypt ? from watching the games it was clear that Martins was under-involved. In game one, pairing Martins with JAg did'nt make sense as they are both roving strikers. Eguavon should have given Martins free-rein in the middle of the fiel...

Morgan Andersen should be tried if he forged Obi's signature
I have been reading that the Norwegian police may drop investigation of allegations that Morgan Andersen may have forged Obi's signature in order to deal him to ManU. What kind of police is the Norwegian police. Forging is a criminal matter. This is a serious crime if it indeed occurred. Why is the ...

All in all, CCC received valuable experience that can and should be an asset going forward. It would be a great tragedy to wholly sideline him. You have to reap his concrete experience and indeed all of the experience of past coaches and advisors who know Nigeria well. mate, I am now finally convin...

Re: What Lynn-Oslo should have done with Obi
Ethic goes both ways: Shittu should have considered the ethics of taking an underage player from Nigeria and selling him to Chelsea without his knowlegde. He should have considered the ethics of taking the player free without payment or compensation to his Nigerian club and the agencies that develo...
