Re: [WC 2022 QF #1] CROATIA 0 BRAZIL 0
I will be surprised if Brazil wins this game (though they don't deserve to lose). I am very impressed with the Croats know-how on game management - solid in defense, solid in midfield, though their attack is limited.

Re: [WC 2022] SENEGAL 0 NETHERLANDS 2 FT (Gakpo, Klaasen)
Watching Senegal, this is the reason African countries struggle at the world cup. They have the Nigeria-94 problem. A team that dominates opponents, but loses concentration at critical time. smh. African countries... kai! Why are we so lacking in the mental side of games? That game really pissed me...

Re: Nigerian coaching crew announced (OFFICAL)
So why did the NFF feel the need to bring in Amunike as the Chief Coach if Eguavoen (the real “Chief” as you just called him) performed so well at the recent AFCON? I thought maybe a more detailed explanation of the nonsensical titles would help ... but it seems not. And then Amuneke himself appare...

It was confusing to me too. I was under the impression that the Technical Director/Adviser develops and coordinates all the National teams (U17s, U21 etc.) program from a strategic standpoint.

Re: Liverpool Vs Arsenal
Emery had the right tactic but wrong personnel in midfield. I would just make one change, replacing Xhaka with Ozil and let Ceballos play deeper and Ozil link up with Aubameyang and Pepe.

Nice one, but how come he didn’t have any opportunity to study in Nigeria. We have problems, but there are some things we have done right too.

Re: Nigeria 2-1 South Africa : FT(Samu, Ekong...VAR)
South African goal was not offisde as it bounced off a Nigerian player but the lax in defence is always scary, dont think South Africa had the strikers to trouble Nigeria, they passed the ball in midfield but lacked the final touch, Nigeria individual talent won the game today The difference in thi...

And Onuachu is not it, SE’s game is based on mobility and speed. He has not reached that level yet.

Re: COLLIN’S TAKE...
The big elephant not discussed is whether Mikel can fit into the team play. Playing Iwobi as an AM was the glue between Etebo/Ndidi and the attack. When Mikel becomes fit again, you know Rohr will place him back in the first 11. Also, I am suspecting that our goal drought in the ANC prior to yesterd...

Re: Nigeria 3 (IghaloX2, Iwobi) vs 2 Cameroon FT
SA will be a tough but to crack, that goal was well engineered... I thought when Lorch interchanged with the player behind him that he would receive it, but the ball was lobbed to the wing and that took out 3 midfielders... And the SAs passing in small spaces are something to behold. Truthfully, Egy...

Most things Naija online are not sustainable because the people in charge are not passionate about the work or get discouraged easily by politics, egos involved, and most often finances etc. This site is almost a self sustaining organism save for the commitment of the loyal few that keep the site af...

Re: Nigeria 3 (IghaloX2, Iwobi) vs 2 Cameroon FT
Was a great win, but I was very impressed with both Awaziem and Aina... At no time did I panic even if they made mistakes, their defensive recovery was very good. When Seedorf switched Bassagog to the left against Awaziem, I was was a little jittery and then equalizer came, I thought Kenneth should ...

Mali has been impressive to me; I think they will go far. SE, on the other hand, do not have enough thrust to pressurize opposing defenses. We barely shoot on target, very frustrating to watch.

Rumors have it Zidane returning to Real Madrid
Is it true to Zinedine Zidane will be returning the Real Madrid shortly? If so, then it is a bad move for RM. How can they accept a coach that just left them high and dry after a very successful year because he is afraid of losing?

Don't give jollof and African food a bad name  When you eat a bowl of fufu, pound or jollof rice instead of plate portions you will have weight problems  Amala is actually low in carbs and high in fiber. Nothing better for a pro athlete than a bowl of Amala daily. Amala is low in...
