Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)
I think the MRI is a blessing to African football no matter its challenges. One of the key observation and consensus particularly from the analyst in this WAFU U-17 tourney is that the MRI has made it such that African countries are beginning to feature genuinely young lad in the U-17 competition. ...

These kids already mastering the art of faking injuries by rolling on the ground. They’re forgetting that they’re the team that needs a goal.

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)
Dangerous free-kick to Niger just at the edge of the penalty box. Second of such free kicks in 5 minutes. And red card to Nigerian defender. Poor from the referee. Very bad decisions. African refs! The man might as well be wearing Orange… All of Niger Rep’s chances have come off dodgy reffing decis...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)
I wonder what % of our primary school kids have access to organized sports at school or recreational facilities. Though we’ve had success at the youth level, I don’t think getting to a large majority of kids who have real talent. Imagine if there’s a top talent who lives in the outskirts of Ebonyi, ...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria v Niger
The usual problem with Nigerian teams. We struggle to create much in the 3rd half. We are now playing long balls that are easily being cut out. You can’t assemble a team 5 days before the competition and expect to dazzle the opponent. We need to embrace good prep and constant improvement rather tha...

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria v Niger
Manu Garba’s team alway seem to be very organized when compared to some of the youth teams we’ve seen lately. Not bad for a team that was selected just last week.

Re: Eze and Olise
A man can only dream but imagine a SE midfield with these two? Kai! When are we ever going to actually get one really good dual national player to actually commit to Nigeria? are we that bad that these kids avoid us and prefer to wait it out for their countries of birth no matter how long they get ...

Re: Probable starting 11 against SA and Benin
Bros, is it a different Akpoguma you keep hyping or the same that has underwhelmed every time he has featured for the SE? I agree Awaziem and Omeruo be retired. Ekong has not played since the AFCON final and is highly unlikely to play again this season for his club as they need a draw away from hom...

Re: Probable starting 11 against SA and Benin
Just need the three points. I do expect SA to soak up the pressure and try to hit us in the counter and with long balls over the defense line. Basically the same game plan they used at Afcon. Niggeria need to ne compact in defense. Play press to win the ball back quickly and finish the chances. Osi...

Re: Probable starting 11 against SA and Benin
SA will be parking the an ultra modern bus no matter what they say, it’s a proven fact that we struggle mightily trying to break down defenses no matter how many striker we start. Even if all our attacking players are available, we still struggle to create and finish. We’ll have to score an early go...

Re: Name your SA/Benin squad
It is the 17th. ScoreNigeria is reporting the list will be released soon. Camp starts on May 28. My prediction of the 25 man list GK- Nwabili, Uzoho, Ojo DF- Aina, Onyemachi, Awazien, Ekong, Ajayi, Osayi, Collins, Bassey, Omeruo MF- Iwobi, Onyedika, Yusuf, Ndidi, Onyeka, Izuogu FW- Osimhen, Bonifac...
