Re: WHO WILL RESCUE Nigeria from the World Cup ABYSS that a foreign Manager put us?.........
Owngoal now reporting that Amuneke hasn't been confirmed yet. They also report that the Tanzanians are CLOWNING US for even considering Amuneke. They say the team has much improved since he left which is evident by their 2 points at the recent AFCON. Apparently with Tanzania he only won 2 matches an...

The new coach local or foreign has 8 out of 10 matches to overturn a 2 point deficit to Rwanda and a 1 goal deficit to South Africa. There are no excuses. NONE. There is quite frankly, nothing to "rescue" If they feel that is too insurmountable a task, then why on earth are they applying ...

Re: WHO WILL RESCUE Nigeria from the World Cup ABYSS that a foreign Manager put us?.........
There is money to be made from hiring foreign coaches. That is the primary motivation. If one were to uncover the anonymous comments supporting the hiring of a foreign coach in Nigeria in 2024, one would realize that money is the sole motivator. Don’t be surprised if some of the proponents of a for...

Re: WHO WILL RESCUE Nigeria from the World Cup ABYSS that a foreign Manager put us?.........
South Africa's road record is horrific by the way. None of the teams in our group will get much on the road. It's not like we have really strong teams in our group. Nothing like what Rohr had to endure. There is nothing stopping us from qualifying if we get our coaching appointment correct. If we fa...

The fact is that as the NFF continues to politik and all manner of influencers are using the media, state officials, and all tactics to push forward their candidate -- both local and foreign --Nigeria remains tattered on third in its World Cup group. See the table placed below. It was achieved unde...

And if it must be a Nigerian coach at all costs. Why not the very best Nigerian coach, and not a jobless failure who is waiting for handouts. Nepotism always has to play a part in these matters. Truth be told, we have very quickly run through the very best - or let’s just say the “most accomplished...

Re: Congratulations to the Legend from Ajegunle
Like I said I am already prepared.
I will be supporting CIV, Senegal, and Morocco in 2026.
Whether Nigeria makes it or not is becoming less and less relevant for me.
If they want a loser who finished DEAD LAST in his only AFCON, then let them do it.

I can also guarantee you this. If not for the successes of Emerse Fae and Aliou Cisse, there wouldn't even be conversations of a local coach for SE. The NFF may believe that they can emmulate the success of those 2. But are those 2 really direct comparisons with the likes of Amunike and Finidi Geor...

Re: AMUNIKE - NEW SE COACH
I also think the NFF, like much of the West are infatuated with symbolic "names" rather than substance.
Therefore a player legend like Amunike would be preferred over a "non name" like Egbo, even though Egbo is more qualified.

I didn't even realize the definition of nepotism actually includes friends and not just family.
So it is 110% relevant.
But the WOWOORs must do their dances of distraction.

I will laugh when we failed to qualify for the world cup again. Who on earth would hire a guy who has been jobless, and waiting for a free handout due to his connections. His last job he finished DEAD LAST with Tanzania at AFCON. Let that sink in again. DEAD LAST. This is who we want to manage SE ? ...
