My late Uncle was a diehard Bendel Insurance fan! He would have loved its resurrection.

Cincinnati is 40% black according to 2020 Census (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Cincinnati#:~:text=The%20racial%20makeup%20of%20the,were%202.8%25%20of%20the%20population). We played 10 vs 11 for 30mins. Does that not count?
Any analysis that bashes the teams performance and ignores the fact that we played for over 30mins with 10 men is unfair.
We played well. Not as well as against Egypt. 11 vs 11 we win the match.

Re: We were taught a footballing lesson
I rewatched the match against Egypt over the weekend and one thing that was missing in our match against Tunisia was intensity. Our pace was just slower and we failed to press with intensity higher up. Maybe the fact that it was the knock-out stage forced the team to be more cautious - we lost the ...

Re: SE 11 v Ghana - let's move on
Let's get Eze of Crystal Palace to add some creativity in the middle. I really liked Nwakali's game - simple touches and he constantly progressed the ball. In addition, his set plays from free-kicks and corners were top-notch. Goalkeeping remains a weak point. However, as Colin Udoh pointed our in T...

Re: We were taught a footballing lesson
We played 10 vs 11 for just under 1/2 of the match and still had chances to equalize. We were not outplayed. I am shocked at the lashing the team and coach are getting. We played well. Yes, some of our reliables were not effective - Aribo, Iheanacho, Moses & Chukwueze but those who came on worke...

Re: Rohr was a better coach than Eguavoen
11 vs 11 Nigeria wins the match! We had time to turn things around. That was never a red card, certainly not in a match of this nature.
Let Eguavoen continue. Mark my words, the journeyman oyinbo y'all are clamoring for will not do any better than what Keshi accomplished.

Re: Westerhoff Celebrates 81st Birthday
HBD to the GREAT man who understood and appreciated the qualities of Nigerian soccer. He took all that he found and added stability to build the greatest Nigerian team ever. Now we have a journeyman German in charge, who with years under the belt and one still can’t discern the style of play he’s in...

Re: Fire Rohr
Westerhoff was coach for 5yrs and we all witnessed the gradual progression of the Supereagles. There was a defined style of play - Skillful. Physical. A ceaselessly attacking team. Confident. He believed in the team and the results reflected it. Rohr is closing in on his 5th year. I personally canno...

Fire Rohr
This man has in his hands generational talent and he’s going to waste it all. He has nothing to offer Nigeria.
He should be fired NOW otherwise we’ll get another overly conscious and tepid display ala Nigeria vs Croatia.

Iwobi is scrap. He's a come off the bench player at best. Push Ramon forward into that role - he has the experience.

Not a fan of Mark Hughes but Soton is a selling club - perfected unearthing top talent and selling to big clubs. Sooner than later it was going to catch up with them and it finally did.
