Re: Asisat has been a huge disappointment so far

May be she is all we have now. She is rugged but has not been clinical with her finishing. That can be very costly when playing with a technical side like England.

Re: Ireland vs Nigeria: Preview (FIFA Women World Cup )(5AM CT, 11 AM Nigerian Time Monday Morning)

Ireland is technical. They are all about set pieces. SF need to be cautious with defense but should always be on the attack. When SF was up against Australia, they went back to defense which was a bad strategy that strengthened Australia.

Can someone please explain why Ighalo is still in the team.

Please help me guys - I still dont understand Ighalo's value to this team. I have watched the matches and inspite of his recent goals - what on earth is he doing in that team. He constantly misses open goals and is even sometimes a liability when he goes to defend. Soccer experts - please help

Re: What is your Starting Lineup Going Forward?

Kudos to Rohr for making changes. The starting lineup for me is now quite clear. Idowu obviously has nothing on Ebuehi. Victor Moses could be very frustrating but he should keep his place for now. Here is my lineup.. Uzoho Ekong Balogun Omeruo Ndidi Mikel Moses Etebo Ebuehi Iheanacho Musa Ndidi is ...

Re: Moses is a hindrance to our attack

Dude does not know how to lay the ball off for anyone. Does not anticipate runs into space, takes too many touches and kills the momentum of every good move that goes through him. I am done. Goals are scored with quick passing movements. If Moses had played in that Argentina friendly last year we w...

Re: Moses is a hindrance to our attack

Don't think it's that bad, but VM and Iwobi are quite indulgent in the SE. They try ish that they would never do in their clubs. They know that they are almost untouchable and it shows in their play at times. Up to Rohr to curb their excesses. At least Iwobi is creative - Moses leads to a lot of wa...

Nobody said he should be dropped.
He should be dropped or come on from the bench. So many of inroads lead no where. Too many wasted chances.

Re: Today Rohr Earned His Stripe As A Coach

I am still not comfortable with his decisions, why did he remove Etebo when Mikel was showing tiredness? And brought in Igahol to replace kelechi? Against Argentina, his luck will run out if he tried that. Congrats to the team I have to agree with u. He could have tried someone other than Ighalo. T...

Dumb, just dumb. Anybody who thinks Musa is the answer is just dumb, and deserves all the abuse they get. Musa starts tomorrow and we are going out. Period. Given the options at hand, Musa should start. We need that aggression against Ireland We need cerebral players to break down Iceland. Not this...

Re: ROHR IS ABOUT TO MAKE THE DUMBEST DECISION YET AS SE COA

Re: Senegal is a useless team..

Let's be honest, this is part of the occasional win for Africa. Africa is still behind in this thing. I'm glad for Senegal. They played with heart and yes they played for themselves. At least their team psychology can't be questioned so far. We can't say that for some country that plays bigman foot...

What’s the questionable selection??? Abeg STFU he played the America’s exact formation that got him to World Cup and lost. No biggie. I absolutely think Nigeria and Iceland qualify from that group..Saturday's results: Iceland 1, Argentina 0 Nigeria 3, Croatia 1 They will finish in reverse order. Theres is perhaps the laziest prediction so far. They predicted based on FIFA rankings but they’ll be a lot of shocked yahoo analysts af...

Yes we have a problem defending set pieces no doubt. But giving up 7 corners in 17 mins is an aberration. We have always had a problem defending them. This is nothing new. I hope we get better at it.
