Coach wrote: Tue May 14, 2024 9:41 pm With all due respect, Tottenham played well. Lacked composure in the finish. City were well off it. De Bruyne injured, Ederson out, if they couldn’t take the points, take the players. It’s all meat and drink.

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Devts for 2023-24 Season

Toto brings on an 18y/o Moore to perhaps take the Mikey off a Manchester City, with $100m pounds worth of Grealish sitting comfy on the bench.

Its not football anymore...

Ol' boy, I have never ever read about a player who has done very little in his career get the kind of HYPE Nwakali gets on this Forum. I wonder what most would have written about him if he showed just a tad more --- win more balls, put himself about more and do something else besides string along p...

Re: FINIDI PICKS 3 FOREIGN ASSISTANTS

Finidi, I will NOT forget this. I have been calling for standards for years! 1789971009551913398 A smart manager, will set standards as Finidi has done here. But being smart also means that he is flexible enough to treat each case on its own merit. A manager can make exceptions as a case demands......

He is a top coach and the mere fact of winning or not winning a trophy is not a sufficient basis for determining who is or not a top coach. If that were the case, I then ask you- why do you danfo driver not consider Rafa Benitez a top coach?  I am sorry, I cant agree with you. My pos...

Re: Crystal Palace interested in Raphael Onyedika and Wilfred Ndidi

^^^ You rate Finidi based on what? The fact that his team was dominated by a 10-man Ghana team in the second half? Or that they lost to Mali? If Finidi was so good, why did he not replicate his coaching at the African level? Eyimba were disgraced when they stepped up to continental level. And this ...

Re: Why Boniface is critical v RSA

If we stick with any variation of the 2 striker system, Lookman is actually the perfect foil for Victor. If finidi sticks w his 3-5-2, Lookman's versatility can see him creating combinations all over the pitch w Iwobi being his main partner and Osi at the end of the moves. Boniface is recovering fr...

Re: Why Boniface is critical v RSA

Even NIgeria used Ideye Brown and Emenike in 2013 successfully. It can work. You need mobile strikers that like to run and like to create chances. Both Osimhen and Boniface are good at that. Boniface is not a high work rate striker, he’s no Ideye Brown, not even close. Amokachi and Ideye could play...

Re: Here we go again: Open camp of SE to local talent-Finidi's first move

The team is already there for Finidi. He has been with them for 2 years. There is no need to deviate very much from Peseiros team. He just needs to plug a hole or two. If he wants to be successful he will stick with mostly the same team. I can garan-damn - tee there'll be local players on that list...
