Re: OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: U-17 FINAL. NGR 0 V MALI 0 (1st ha
This final is in a way sad as it is further testament that Africa continues to export her raw materials to benefit the outside world with little benefit accruing to Africa.

Re: MALI 3 VS 1 BELGIUM
I hate cheats with a passion Bro since they started MRI testing African players have looked really young and what nobody has been talking about is the drop off of teams like Brazil and Argentina since MRI and in Africa notably Ghana which tells me the age verification system iscworking. These three...

Re: EPL Club tempts Osimhen with one million Pounds
Please let that boy go somewhere where he can be developed, nurtured and polished. He is still very raw and needs to either go to France, Belgium, Portugal, Spain or Italy in that order of preference and if not then stay in Nigeria but if he goes to the electoral that would be the end of it.

Re: Brazil 0 V 3 Nigeria/ Croatia V Mali
Mali is the best team at this U17 world cup, very sound tactically, defensively with a smart coach that makes prudent and tactically astute adjusments. I see now why they are African champions and have yet to concede a goal from open play at this tournament. Some less selfish play in the attack wou...

Re: Brazil 0 V 3 Nigeria/ Croatia V Mali
Kpom, i am with Amuneke on this one. Osimhen was a beauty to watch on the counters, he held up play and could easily beat his man from the left flank. He barely crossed the 3/4 line to defend and saved his energy for the burst required for the counters. He kept being a torn in their flesh and thats...

Re: Why I took the Super Eagles Job - Oliseh
What Oliseh is saying is what I have been saying on this forum for quite a while now, the downfall of the SE is the impatience of the Nigerian Fan. The SE is broken because there are no strong institutions to form the foundation on which the SE should be built upon. In this day and age a nation cann...

Re: 1996 Olympics: Nigeria vs Brazil. Ballers galore
Bro I am not talking about where they were but were their careers took them. As you rightly stated most were looking to establish themselves where did Taribo, Babayaro, Amuneke , Finidi, Oliseh, Okocha, Oruma, Babangida, Ikpeba, Amoakachi, Kanu, etc, etc all end up? Compare were even the substantive...

Re: 1996 Olympics: Nigeria vs Brazil. Ballers galore
How the mighty SE has fallen, most of these players were important players for top clubs in the top leagues now it's big news when Emunike signs for some team in some country that I don't even know. Oliseh has his work cut out for him to restore Nigeria football but I think he is up to the job if gi...

Re: What is Sunday Oliseh's coahing experience?
Pele, Maradona, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas all failed as coaches whilst others succeeded. Most players turned coaches who were successful were the cerebral types who could articulate the game. Beign a good player even the best does not translate into being a good coach. Thde CI...

Re: What is Sunday Oliseh's coahing experience?
Truth be told this appointment is a big risk. If we wanted a local coach, it would have made more sense to promote SSS, as he has coached U20 and Olympic teams to success. His short stint with SE also produced very effective offensive play with true Nigerian style. So we know somewhat what we will ...

Re: Fixing our football
We don't need a foreign coach. My recommendations on how to fix Nigerian football 1. Rebuild the National stadium in Lagos- select a permanent home for the Eagles. 2. Build a strong local league- all of the clubs will be privately owned. Maybe community ownership or sole ownership. Improve player c...

Re: Reverse the coaches in all the African teams games!
We need a revolution in Africa. Made in Africa should be the slogan. Our problem is bigger than coaching alone. 1. The NFF should develop a Nigerian version of the pro A coaching course. Train all of the coaches in Nigeria. Don't send coaches abroad to train in England. 2. The NFF should develop th...

Re: Cameroon 0-1 China WWC
all these americans commentors sure love talking down to Africa They are simply saying the truth, when you see a team doing the same thing all game long and it's not working and the team is not playing to it's strength it's hard to keep quiet. Then you have a Naija coach who was so clueless that he...
