Re: Ifeanyi UDEZE... Raises Concern about Playing Calvin Bassey v Ghana
Enugu II, you have a thinly veiled bias/dislike towards 'foreign' players and this has been trending for a while. No one is suggesting Calvin start this game (against Ghana home or away), however he is one for the future and would be great to have for well into the future.

From social media, it is now showing that we have moved training to the national stadium. I am happy the training is in Abuja, I hope less distractions.

Re: Name your likely starting 11
I think you maybe underestimating Onyeka, but it will be interesting to see Nwakali in a deep role with Aribo also playing CM. My problem with Nwakali is his work rate. I feel if you put him in the midfield with Ndidi and Aribo his work rate will let us down and this maybe ignored if he created bucke...

Re: Name your likely starting 11
My problem with Nwakali is his work rate. I feel if you put him in the midfield with Ndidi and Aribo his work rate will let us down and this maybe ignored if he created bucket loads of chances which I am not sure he will do either. I could be wrong, Onyeka on the other will work alongside Ndidi and ...

Re: Name your likely starting 11
I was wondering would a 433 work well for us? Back four, Aina, Awaziem Ekong and Sanusi. Midfield three, Ndidi, Onyeka and Aribo Front three Simon Ighalo Chukwueze against Egypt. With one fullback bombing forward and Aribo in an advanced position, we could have 5 in an attack at any point in time. T...

Re: Is CE THE ONLY ACTIVE FANS’ FORUM IN AFRICA?
Happy New Year In big tournaments I sometimes check on Big Soccer Forum, not as many posters as here with regards to African football. Reading the comments there, it seems rate Nigeria higher simply because Rhor is gone which for me seems counter intuitive. However people did not that Rhor held the ...

Re: CAR 0 vs Nigeria 2
A 2 nil scoreline for me is still underwhelming as I there is no discernible pattern of play. Happy that all we need is a draw to move onto the knockouts, however I was expecting 6 points from this break. Onto the next one however I feel we need a new direction and I was am one of Rhors biggest fans...

Re: Nigeria 0 vs CAR 0 Live
Iheanacho does not have the ability to play from the middle, we are missing Iwobi or a player that can drop in to middle to move the ball forward. I think that's why we keep playing from the flanks which is not working at the moment.

Re: Cape Verde 1 Nigeria 2 FT
I dont know why people do not seem relieved with a win away from home in what is a banana skin of a tie. Some lessons learnt in a game where we did not have room for error. It was clear we were a cut above these players even with our b or c (which ever you choose) team. The pitch meant that control ...

Re: Which midfielders should make the World cup?
you've mentioned all the names that I have been mentioning. Kingsley has left his mark and should always be in the mix we need to look at Alhassan who will give us lots of energy and drive, and to a lesser extent Nwobodo, but also Nwakali. Nwakali because we need midfielders who are comfortable on ...

It looks like Josh Maja is about to join the mix as well. Potentially 4 of our guys playing regularly, if not gives us more reason to follow Fulham. https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre FULHAM CLOSE IN ON MAJA' Sky Sports' Dharmesh Sheth: "We've spoken a lot in this window about Scott Park...

Re: Lookman,Aina Adarabioyo vs Ajayi
Can't blame him for that. The Mitrovich header to Bobby Decordova zipped across quick, with Ajayi rightly covering the right side of the goal - Areola was on the left side. As a defender, you make a decision as to whether to go and intercept (no guarantee of you getting it) or cover. He chose the l...

Transfer rumor that Michael Olise is wanted by three premier league clubs with Arsenal being one of them. Re: Owolabi Speaks on Rohr and Nigerian League Players
These threads about local and overseas players are too much. I feel as though it is not based in logic, when the late Great Keshi was tasked with the job it was argued that he had a right to choose who ever he feels will get the job done. This one is a loooong shot. No harm in Rhor shooting his shot tho. We can easily get Akpoguma, Germany ain't capping him anytime soon, and he's smart enough to knows it... It's the Zirkzee kid I doubt we can get, especially if Netherlands come calling with his current form. But no harm in trying sh...
