Re: EXCLUSIVE: Finidi out of race for new Super Eagles coach
Employ Michael Nsien. Simple. He's currently an Assistant Coach with the US National team and is also the substantive Head Coach of the US u19 team. A Nigerian through and through, he was part of our Olympic team that failed to qualify for the 2004 Olympics. He has the UEFA Pro, UEFA A, and USSF A L...

Re: Nsien Interview -
I KNOW MICHAEL NSIEN, JR. He is a tremendous coach and is very ready to coach the Super Eagles. Not many know that as a College player for UCLA, he came home to play for our Olympic team which failed to qualify for the 2004 Olympics. Not many know that when he was the coach of FC Tulsa, he facilitat...

Re: Local Coach Advocacy- Like Forrest Gump!
Michael Nsien meets the requirements. He's a former coach of Tulsa FC, Head Coach of the US u19 team and is an Assistant Coach of the US National team which is rated well ahead of Nigeria. He played for our Olympic team during qualifiers for the 2004 Olympics while a college student at UCLA. He of c...

Re: OUR BREDAS PRAISING EKONG
Troost has cut out on a mistakes he used to make like losing concentration or panicking leading to errors. I guess the development comes with experience and I wonder how much the format employed by Peseiro helped Ekong’s game True! But he gave Haller too much space for the second goal, watch how Osi...

Re: LOL @ Amunike - I am not surprised
What was the question he responded to? And the other video where he clearly stated that he wanted Osimhen to win nullifies the other one. Nothing here. Exactly! The wrong press against Amuneke was debunked by the earlier interview where he clearly stated his preference for Osimhen. The said Osimhen...

Re: How good a footballer is Asisat Oshoala?
We need to fast track the grooming of that Opeyemi in the Flamingos for the Super Falcons. Her pace is out of this world! I agree with the original post. I have never understood the hype for Oshoala as it relates to the Super Falcons. I can't remember any Falcons game I have watched that she was th...

Raphael Onyedika is one of our finest midfielders in Europe. He was a standout performer for FC Midtjllyand (Onyeka's former club) and was almost signed by AC Milan last month. They didn't meet his club's valuation and he was snapped up by Club Brugge. Champions League football awaits him and Nigeri...

Re: What if Ghana uses same tactics as Tunisia?
Eguavoen isn't dumb. He learned a few hard lessons against Tunisia and is likely going to use Ghana as redemption. With Amuneke at his side, expect some creativity and better response from the bench. I feel good about us beating Ghana- surely better than if we drew Cameroon or Egypt.

Moses' agent already saying "Moses isnt so excited to be comming back" and "he will only play for a year" Now I dont know how true these reports are but If this is the kind of attitude that he will be bringing, then we dont need him. He is not Ronaldo. At least one positive thin...

Re: Ndidi suffers knee ligament damage
Ndidi missing the Ghana matches will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. For all his tackling and ball-winning, he doesn't offer much offensively and we need a DM that can also move the ball against a Partey- led Ghana midfield that is their strength. Mobile and cohesive midfielders will match th...

Re: FOR THE RECORD: SE is DEEP into DUDU........
Odds are that Dennis and Lookman may not start. Better odds are that they will likely play. Adding Dennis, Lookman and Bassey to the team and dropping a few of those from AFCON to strengthen the team makes sense. Which Super Eagles fan wouldn't salivate at a Dennis-Osimhen-Lookman attack against Gha...

Unfortunately, Uyo is not going to happen. POLITICS! Previous Governor versus current Governor. Let's pray and hope for the best. Hopefully the pitch would be sorted out. Under Udom, the SEs have played in Uyo, so what's the issue between the governors? I'm similarly puzzled at this assertion.Godsw...

Re: Nigeria's top 3 strikers.....opinion
For me it is not about who's the best striker but rather which is the best combination for our attack. If we cast our mind back we will remember that while Yekinni was being played as our top striker alongside Amokachie he wasn't even the top striker in the Portuguese league where he was playing th...

One of the frustrating things about Rohr was his penchant for under- selling his own team and respecting the opponents too much even if they were CAR.

 The high was the 4-0 destruction of the afcon champions Cameroon. The Low was losing 1-0 to CAR at home. One happened near the beginning, and the other near the end. I believe Rohr started very well with the team, he was on course to becoming the greatest ever SE coach, but something happened...
