Re: Senegal vs Algeria final - Some Thoughts

Dummy Yujam always talks about certain teams choking. Why isn't his unintelligent self talking about perennial chokers Senegal? Easily the most overrated team in African footy history. They are not overrated. They lost to the best team of the tournament. They have made it to the quarter finals of t...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2019/2

Arsenal is not a serious club. This should be the 2nd of 3 summer transfer windows in which Arsenal give Emery the resources he needs to make the team competitive by his 3rd season in charge. Instead they continue their nickel and dime policy that is a proven failure. Looks like the only way the clu...

Re: Algeria are champions of Africa

Too many dudes here focus on short term results without assessing long-term performance. Senegal are a very flawed team. They struggle to score goals. They were poor at the WC but dudes here ignored this and decided instead to celebrate their win vs Poland. Lo and behold, Senegal did not make it las...

This is why I'm all in favour of CE implementing an IQ test before a new member can join this forum. If we simply set the bar at an IQ score of at least 30 we will not have really low IQ people like Bret reduce the level of our discourse

Don't despair Bret, I am currently managing a crowd sourcing campaign so we can raise enough money to pay for your brain transplant. It is about time we substitute your donkey brain for a human one.

Griezmann to Barcelona

The rich get richer :boo: :boo: :boo: Don't understand why he chose to resign with Atletico last year and why Atletico didn't just set a higher release clause. Good for him and Barca, bad for competition. :boo: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2836227-report-antoine-griezmann-in-barcelona-transfe...

Re: African trio share EPL Golden Boot

When did Frenchman Aubamayang become African? Jos because he plays for Gabon? Sadio and Salah are bona fide Africans, born and bred. Auba is European, pure and simple. Oga Ohsee abeg stick to Rant and Rave. Aubamayang is as African as they come. His father played for Gabon in the 90s. His roots go ...

Re: Liverpool 2018/19 season + Game Threads

If I'm a Liverpool fan I'm not even mad about this season. 97 points is about as close to perfection as you can get. Its like getting a 97% in your class but falling short to a classmate who got 98%. Its not something you lose sleep over. I think Liverpool needs a world class Central Attacking Mid t...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

Although I expected us to finish 5th or 6th this year I have to say our EPL season was a failure IMO. Top 4 was there for the taking and despite having an easy schedule to end the season we completely blew our chance to lock in a CL spot. I am confident we'll field stronger teams in the years to com...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

1 point out of 12 over the past few weeks. We only needed 5 points out of 12 to be in position for CL next Sunday. We simply aren't good enough. Hopefully this gives Emery more clout behind the scenes to clear out the team and bring in better players. Good news is barring disaster vs Valencia (which...

The one hit wonder is going to win the EPL golden boot for the second year on the trot. So much for a sophomore slump.

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

I'm happy with the result but not the performance. Valencia could have been up 3-0 early in the game. We missed a bunch of sitters and had the chance to bury Valencia at home. Based on our form over the past month it's not inconceivable they beat us 2-0 or more next week. Too much junk on this team....

Re: Liverpool 2018/19 season + Game Threads

2nd crappiest Barca side in the last decade (the 2006/07-2007/08 team was weaker) and they beat the best Liverpool side in decades 3-0  Liverpool despite a very solid season might go trophyless once again. Hard to pin blame given Liverpool controlled much of the play. What I will say is they ...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

Too much junk on this team which is why few of us expected top 4. Nonetheless we have bottled things in the last few weeks by pissing away our top 4 chances. Consider that we only needed a draw after last Sunday's loss to be in pole position for 4th. In addition to being technically weak this team i...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

6 goals conceded in our last 2 games is disgraceful. Both Wolves and CP have two of the weakest attacks in the EPL but we let them go Barcelona on us. We have one more lifeline (United drawing/beating Chelsea on Sunday) but we need to win our remaining 3 games no matter what. Some Arsenal fans are f...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

Most of our team isn't good enough for our aspirations.

What's also infuriating is we play to the level of our opponents. We can beat United, Chelsea, Spurs, Napoli, etc but play like utter garbage against this useless CP team.

Unai should be fired if he starts Mustafi again.
