The no 6 for Mali is Mahamadou Diarra. Ayo is starting to lose credibility here on acct of his bias! Soccer-Nations-Mali v Burkina Faso - teams TUNIS, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Teams for the African Nations Cup group B match between Mali and Burkina Faso in Tunis on Friday: Mali: 1-Mahamadou Sidibe; 3-Fous...

Ayo:
Your bias is out for everyone to see. Maybe in 3 or 4 year, Seyi will get to Diarra's level but right now any fair observer will see the difference.

Come June, Seyi will be playing in a much tougher league than Diarra. The club's scouts are in Tunisia watching him as we speak.

Ayo: Maybe you should go watch those two players again. They are much better than Seyi at the moment. Diarra starts for French champion, Lyon btw. Ayo and Olofinjana! The boy is good but Modeste Mbami, Mahamadou Diarra and Salif Diao have been far more impressive. This is a very bad line-up. M...

Guinea are a solid side no doubt. But if Tunisia plays like
this in the QFs, they might as well forget about it.

What do Kanu, Diouf and Etoo have in common?

They are all brilliant players but all manage to pull of some unbelievable, and sometimes even ridiculous, misses. How on Earth did Kanu manage not to score today after he rounded Baron? Diouf missed an unbelievable open net on Friday when the Kenyan goalie missed the ball and Diouf, standing in fro...

Re: Best Performance Since Spain '98!

EII: At the end of the game, S Africa had 10 corners to Nigeria's 2. The amount of ball possession the Eagles had belies this stat. Perhaps the half backs - George and Lawal - gave up too many corners. Omonoba: I really cannot recall too many Eagles performances better than this one. It was scary to...

Best Performance Since Spain '98!

I just finished the game and I must say that the Eagles played very well. I'd say this is the best Eagles performance since Spain 1998. Everyone on the team hustled for the ball and the pace of the game was much quicker. The Olofinjana and Ekwueme combination, while not a true central midfield pairi...

Good point. But Burkina Faso are just plain awful, one of the worst teams in the tournament. I will not be the least bit surprised if the Kenyans do well against them.

Mali vs Senegal will be a true clash of titans. I do have a sneaky feeling that Mali might not pass this test.
