Re: AAG Semifinal: Uganda 4-2 Congo (0-2 @ Halftime)
Uganda, like most other African 'minnows' of yester years, are improving. Meanwhile former kings of football Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria are sitting on their laurels. I'm enjoying the competition, even when some herein believe past achievements are enough to continue having them on top. Congrats to Uga...

Re: Ladan Boss explains why Team could not have performed better
It's hard to be successful in a system like what the NFF operates. Any coach
working under such conditions should be considered lucky to win anything.
One simply has to wonder why Bosso is still hanging around the Federation,
if he is not part of the problem.

Re: THINKING OF COACHING......
EII, I don’t believe there is one single manager in the whole wide world who is as good as he’s given credit for. Any manager is only as good as the resources made available to him. If a manager has good players and adequate support from his employer, he is likely to succeed. If you don’t believe m...

Re: Today na Today. All African Games: Uganda vs Nigeria
U-20 style of play is, run-and-shoot football laden with over-zealousness.
Our local coaches need refinement on the nuance and psychology of the game,
else Bosso should take over coaching the SE so we can continue the rot.

Re: Ejuke showcases Okocha-like ability in Belgium: Time to replace subpar Chukwueze?
Unlike the ball-juggling star he is compared to, his main issue is whether he can release the ball on time and accurately. Until his ball-juggling can fit into team agenda, he will be just another entertainer. The video evidence shows that he lingers too much on the ball, and that is not what most c...

Re: QUESTION: Is Talent Born or Acquired?
No one is born with TALENT. What people are born with is physical attributes that can make talent acquisition easier and faster with practise. This often explains difference between sexes in sport. The lad in question more likely has positive physical attributes and then be spent hours practising t...

Re: Ahmed Musa sacked by Sivasspor
Is there a more insidious basis behind the vitriol directed at Ahmed Musa? Did his inclusion in the AfCON squad impact proceedings? Was he divisive in the camp? If so, did it steer the ship wide of its course? On merit, perhaps his inclusion was unjustified, but many a player has been taken to tour...

I mean whatever someone like Finidi lacks in technical ability can be hired. There are many good match readers, scouts and tacticians working in several clubs in South America. We know Finidi loves his country and has hardly been involved in controversy like Oliseh Not everything need be outsourced...

Onyeka, the one notable SE mid-fielder at AFCON.
If we can get another player like him, our defense will be hard to crack.

1990s mindset. Whenever creativity is mentioned, Cyberians reply “midfield, midfield”. Most assists in the EPL this season thus far? Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins. Rather than assume Iwobi the second coming of what he’s not , the question should be, when will our game modernise to the point whe...

Wow na BP don come dey make sense like this? That was a lot of growing up o. You other guys covering your ears and shouting "fire the coach" should heed his advice. He was in your very position not very long ago. He got his wish, but didn't like where it all ended up. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:...

Any coach, foreign or domestic, will still have to contend with officials and fans who love to unnecessarily interfere with players choices and game day selections. Until we resolve these, our team situation cannot function properly. BTW, why are our domestic coaching options suggestions based mainl...

Re: Why have our last two foreign coaches been defensive?
May be the players are as good as the fans think? Thanks bamenda . Our best players are defenders, and most of our offensive players are overhyped and selfish. In an era of quick coordinated possession football, you can't have attacking players with bad first-touch control of the ball, inaccurate p...

Re: So how can Peseiro fix the Eagles.
This coach did a great job with this average team. Time is too short but I want to believe Nigeria has far better players than most of those in this squad. The goal within the year should be to plug the gaps by aggressively scouting locally and internationally for talent. In my view, I was impresse...

South Africa will definitely pass themselves to stupor, a team that can do the intricate 1-2 passes and build up play well yet can't finish to save their lives...hope this will be the case when we meet them again in June for the WCQ. honestly, they magically improved against SE. I am still trying t...
