Squad selection is fine. Not much to complain about IMO.

Yes, but firstly let him proactively file for a switch in allegiance rather than only talking about wanting to play for Nigeria.

Re: NFF President Amaju Pinnick Out To Woo Saka For Nigeria
This sounds like a briefing from the NFF to the media. The aim to display that the NFF are doing their utmost to convince the player. Therefore if Saka decides not to commit to Nigeria, no one can blame the NFF for "not trying". We've have seen a number of fans previously blame the NFF for...

Re: Semi Ajayi
I'm sorry but how the hell are 3rd-4th division (Europe) scouted players "ready made" or "polished" for the SE? Whilst Semi Ajayi deserve a lot of credit and appreciation for his development as footballer over the last few years. His 1st invitation to the SE was based on his per...

Re: Semi Ajayi
Damunk, I would to make it clear that I am not blaming Rohr, rather I think the NFF could do much better to assist. There are a number of factors that affect the ability of HB players to compete effectively within the SE and truthfully these issues do not lie on Rohr. However, maybe I am just being ...

Re: The Hangers - Match Week 10
Tosin Aiyegun with a goal and an assist for Zurich yesterday vs Basel. He dominated FC Basel in central midfield and looks like he's already too good for this league in his third match. I watched him a little of him. Looked pretty good. It will be interesting to see how he progresses, could be one ...

Re: Nigeria Never Shown Interest In Me – Tomori
I wouldn't say he is a liar Dude! he literally told a lie, which makes him a liar! WTF!!?? This is why I said read the quotes and just not the headline or paraphrasing. He never stated "Nigeria didn't show any interest in me" as the journalist tries to make out. In fact, one can say he ha...

Re: Nigeria Never Shown Interest In Me – Tomori
This Tomori guy is a liar. If he really wanted to play for Nigeria he would have turned down the last call up he got from England and indicated to the NFF that he wanted a switch. Also i find it hard to belive the NFF never looked his way all this time. Dude is just trying to save face. People need...

I think this would be a good move for both parties. A loan deal in January would make sense.

Re: Eze Picks England
Damunk, One can identify as a Nigerian along as British. I've mentioned this a number of times that because one decides to play for England doesn't mean they have no love for Nigeria or that they don't feel Nigerian. There are many other ways to contribute to Nigeria's development than simply playin...

Re: Eze Picks England
Misleading headline The headline might be a bit provoking but it is not misleading at all. If Eze tells Nigeria to wait now it means nothing less than he wants to keep his options open to be called up by England. Somehow I believe that the english FA works with strategic psychological methods. Beca...

Not a surprise really. As I noted in a previous thread. He was part of the England u-21 squad just last month. I didn't see any indication that he would switch allegiance at this stage.

Re: " I don't know if Nigeria still wants me"- Udokhai
Hmmm....he needs to think very carefully. He is only 22. He seems frustrated with his lack of opportunities at the German u-21s at this current moment. This how in 18 months time if he manages to start playing regularly at Wolfsburg he will completely have forgotten the prospect of playing for Nige...

Re: " I don't know if Nigeria still wants me"- Udokhai
This is no different from having two babes only one of whom you can marry. You might choose one but if you had the opportunity of keeping the other as a side chick, you would. Bottom line is if you choose one it in no means implies you didn't or don't love the other. And if the first choice fokks u...

HT Nigeria 1-0 Togo
Nigeria need 2 more unreplied goals to get through after the 4-1 loss in the 1st leg.

I think many should look at these dual-national players as a bonus. If Nigeria can get them to commit, good, if not we keep it moving. You can't miss what you never had. I've never seen Tammy Abraham and others as a loss to the SE.

Re: England about to get Saka
Southgate has even spoken about calling him up for the senior squad. Way too soon in my opinion.... I've mentioned this in a previous thread. It wouldn't surprise me one bit. Tomori was invited after a few games as a starter. Calum Hudson-Odoi was invited and capped last season without having start...
