Re: Nigeria 1 - 0 Zambia FT (Alex Iwobi)

Congrats everyone :) 1. We did not play well (specially in the first half), but a win is a win. Our passing, and build-up play were off. The boys were probably nervous. They improved after the goal. 2. The Zambians did well. They pressed (and fouled) us, passed the ball well, and created a few chanc...

Re: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL: JUVE vs MADRID: 1-4 (FT)

Very disappointed with Juventus and Allegri. What was their game plan, especially in the second half? No defense, no attack, no midfield. In the first half, they committed too many people forward and left themselves open to counter-attacks. When Madrid got the upper hand in the second half, why did...

Re: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL: JUVE vs MADRID: 1-4 (FT)

I'm so happy Arsenal didn't buy Higuain ... well we ended up with a worse fraud in You Know Who but oh well :curse: Higuain chokes in big matches. In the World Cup final, Manuel Neuer gave him a free shot at goal, he missed. In the Copa America final, Messi laid the ball for him on a plate, he miss...

Re: Welcome to the EPL Mr Bradley

Here we again. If I talk now, I will be accused of taking it personal. :) People are already "welcoming" him to the EPL despite the fact that he has only just arrived and hasn't even had time to unpack his bags. Based on this, isn't it appropriate to welcome him now? Or should they welcom...

Re: Coming up: Seville vs Barcelona.

Great game. It seems Barca cannot play two good halves in a match. Barca's first half was rather poor and Sevilla should have gone 3-0 up by half time. Barca's second half was outstanding, with another amazing performance from Messi.

Table after 11 games (more or less as Liverpool is still playing, but leading 5-0 [no easy game though]) Please explain this to me. EPL is so tough, yet the teams at the top of the table average more points their Spanish and German counterparts. My brother, your numbers are inaccurate. Liverpool do...

Meanwhile, Conte's team is winning 5-0 against one of the so-called "seven title contenders." Is Conte not from a league that EPL pundits consider "dead"? How come his team is humiliating one of the solid teams in the "toughest" league? so you now using Conte to bail o...

Re: Yaya TOURE says, "Water Pass Garri"

Yaya Toure has a clause in his contract that says if he is still at City at the end of his current contract ie end of this season, he gets £11m. So I suppose it pays hims to beg so that he is not sold during the January transfer window. Unless of course he can convince a club in China to part with ...

6-1 It is sooooo "tough" that Coutinho has been taken off and even Klopp has decided to sit down (something he hardly ever does). The toughness of the EPL must be getting too much for his nerves. He is probably thinking to himself: "This has to be the toughest league in human history....

Klopp is another coach from the "easy" Bundesliga who is finding out that the EPL is soooo "tough." :D The EPL is sooooo "tough" that Klopp is cruising 5-0 after 60 minutes and decides to substitute his best striker (Firmino) after 65 minutes and one of his best players...

does chelsea play midweek?
What has that got to do with the supposed "toughness" of the EPL? Neither Chelsea, Everton, nor Borough played in midweek

Conte is finding the EPL sooooooo "tough." No wonder, because he came from the "dead" Italian league. Conte learnt the lesson after getting his butt kicked to the curb, real quick. Another thing is, Conte builds his team from the foundation of his defense. All the dilly dallying...
