Re: We have found a new left back
Alaba 2.0? Seeing as Rohr is going about things, I'm 99% sure he is already on his case. If JT maintains that starting role, get him in!

Are we sure he will turn out for SE?

Would be great if he turns up for SE. Saw brief glimpses of him in the game against Hoffenheim, and he seemed quite good. Germany are also relatively weak at the LB position, so not unlikely they would entice him/obstruct SE from claiming him.maceo4 wrote:Are we sure he will turn out for SE?

The fact that Alex Iwobi's father played for Femo Scorpions back home is a huge reason why we got Alex.maceo4 wrote:Are we sure he will turn out for SE?
Jordan's father played for Shooting. The family is emotionally invested in the Nigerian game. I think we will see him in the setup the next time Eagles have camp (Within the next 6 weeks).
Re: We have found a new left back
His main position is centre back. He's not a full time left back. I'm sure Rohr and his team will come up with a better left back from the Nigerian professional League.

Please let us know your impression of this kid. Is he the right prescription for our ailments with respect to the LB position. What is your prognosis if he is applied to the aforementioned ailment.Damunk wrote:Watching him now on BT Sport 3.

Berlin were under the cosh all through. He made a few crucial interventions but for him to make the Bundesliga team of the week, his best play must have been before I started watching.
Couldn't form an impression either way from what I caught.

I saw the full game. He looks a really strong player but to be honest he looks more like a center back than a left back. He was solid defensively but added next to nothing going forward.Damunk wrote:Unfortunately it was only the highlights and I only caught about 15 mins.Cito wrote:Please let us know your impression of this kid. Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Both of you do not have to be wrong.
Take into consideration that they were playing Borussia Mochengladbach...a much better team than them. You will understand why their full backs could not afford to be wing backs.

I have never seen him play. So, you have more information about him than I do.

Re: German CEs, who is Jordan Torunarigha?
I checked a Hertha BSC forum and people there were praising his debut, especially since he played in a different position. So I suppose his main position has been center back so far.
