Alaba 2.0? Seeing as Rohr is going about things, I'm 99% sure he is already on his case. If JT maintains that starting role, get him in!

Would be great if he turns up for SE. Saw brief glimpses of him in the game against Hoffenheim, and he seemed quite good. Germany are also relatively weak at the LB position, so not unlikely they would entice him/obstruct SE from claiming him.

The fact that Alex Iwobi's father played for Femo Scorpions back home is a huge reason why we got Alex.

Jordan's father played for Shooting. The family is emotionally invested in the Nigerian game. I think we will see him in the setup the next time Eagles have camp (Within the next 6 weeks).

His main position is centre back. He's not a full time left back. I'm sure Rohr and his team will come up with a better left back from the Nigerian professional League.

Please let us know your impression of this kid. Is he the right prescription for our ailments with respect to the LB position. What is your prognosis if he is applied to the aforementioned ailment. :D

Unfortunately it was only the highlights and I only caught about 15 mins.
Berlin were under the cosh all through. He made a few crucial interventions but for him to make the Bundesliga team of the week, his best play must have been before I started watching.
Couldn't form an impression either way from what I caught.

TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED...
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding...hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe

I saw the full game. He looks a really strong player but to be honest he looks more like a center back than a left back. He was solid defensively but added next to nothing going forward.

That's like asking if Snoop Dogg is aware of weed, this is Rohr's bread and butter.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Both of you do not have to be wrong.

Take into consideration that they were playing Borussia Mochengladbach...a much better team than them. You will understand why their full backs could not afford to be wing backs.

I checked a Hertha BSC forum and people there were praising his debut, especially since he played in a different position. So I suppose his main position has been center back so far.
