Omeruo for Zaidu. Bassey plays left wing back.

I was under the impression, that some complained, in the recent past, that Bassey was subpar on the wings, or did the past game change all that?

Sooner or later the 343 will be exposed.

352 and replace Zaidu. Bring Yusuf into the midfield and drop Simon. Have Iwobi advanced. Lookman SS alongside Osimehn.

Who will be assigned Simon’s defensive responsibilities?

Probably the same exact team unless there are injuries

Under 352 every player will still be tasked with defensive responsibilities, the goal is to stay compact with our wing-backs drifting into midfield to help in build up play as well as tracking back to defend- Aina and Bruno/Osayi should do well in a 352.

Chukweze is a very serious defensive liability.

Yusuf will be the extra man in the middle. He will cover more ground than Simon and allow Iwobi to actually CREATE goal scoring opportunities.

It's not rocket science, I don't know why Pissero is so stubborn.

You've got to have a fall back plan B just in case, Angola must have watched all our games and done due diligence on how to set up against this formation...I'm sure that concept isn't alien to you!

Same difference: one plays a headless chicken's game, while the other...oh shut, they are both the same. :taunt:

Bro, it does not work that way; Cameroon watched the CIV game, too.
You cannot bring to the table that which you do not have.
The game SE plays is beatable, but you must have the personnel to accomplish such.
Do you think Angola can move and shoot the ball well from outside the eighteen-yard box?
They may elect to shoot across from the wings, but it will not be that easy unless Uzoho plays.

You should know how the current system works before you propose changes. On the left and right side, Simon and Lookman play as the first line of defense from the wings when we don’t have the ball. They deny space, passing lanes and recover quickly to support the defense when beaten. When you remove both from the wing forward position , the space they defend now becomes available for penetration. The main reasons teams get few attempts vs SE is not because they’re too dumb to figure how to shoot. It’s because there’s no space and time. I know that concept is alien to you.

Until it didn't work in the 2nd round.

The current system is wasting Iwobis creativity. Our attack lacks variation and clear cut chances. It concerns me.
