African teams have serious coaching problem Jeez. This Zambia match was so annoying I almost threw my tea cup at the TV. How inept can a coach be? 1-0 up, playing against 10 men, yet they allowed the Italians to gain confidence and practically lost their way in the match with the stupid coach busy either praying or wandering around his technical area. Shior!

Their whole strategy was to 'tear' the net rather than put their strikers in behind the defence for a tap-in. The whole 2nd half was them passing back to their defenders to baloon over the bar or lashed at the Italian keeper, rather than using their FBs to exploit the width and get to the byline. Thereby increasing the chances of more players attcking the box. To crown it all they fell for the oldest trick in the book...not holding up your hands when a striker is backing into you on the edge of the box. And then, not putting a player on the line in case the wall messed up.

Not many positives I am afraid. To many individuals who kept dribbling themselves into cul de sac, when a fast release would have put their FB through on the wings. Too many bad decisions turned a game they should have won easily by as much as 4 goals into a 2-3 loss.

Zambia tried. Great game to watch. Both sides missed a ton of chances. Now to a great payday  for Zambian stars like Fashion Sakala. A lot of clubs will come knocking.

JOsh onomah rings one off the post as England continue to look for a second

Do you see what a clever team does? England at least trying to take the ball to the corner flag to kill off the game. And they have done it! England are in the semis!

...every team is clever, all it takes is for one bone headed player to not follow instruction.
