Once again, you struggle, very badly to understand simple english. wow!maceo4 wrote:If the coach already knows his 23 there would be no need for friendlies to look at other players, clearly he doesn't therefore it only makes sense to call those he could potentially pick and have them earn their spot in camp. I hope that is clear.danfo driver wrote:maceo4 wrote:Its funny how you suddenly know the right thing to do is...I guess as long as its not Vince you can actually think rationally...Let them all come and battle it out (Vince, Uzoho, down to Akpeyi and Alampasu), so we can take the best hands to Russia without any sentiment. Even if Uzoho is not the number 1, its players like him that we need to groom to take over that spot and he will benefit greatly from the WC experience, just like Vince did in 2002.Odas wrote:... that's the right thing to do. Both goals he conceded weren't his fault.
Typical Nigerian ignorance - "come and battle it out!" yes, lets have a camp of 10000000 players battling it out! Dude! this is not scrimmage! This is a foooking national team! the coach picks hi 23 + 5 waitlisted players. simple!
As for Vince, you guys keep refusing to understand the issue. The issue is that when we needed Vince, he retired! The likes of Uzoho and all WERE AVAILABLE during the qualifiers! Had they been called, they'd have come. Vince retired! he made himself unavailable when we needed him. So, please, he should continue to be unavailable. We want to move on! Na by force??
As far as your Vince hogwash, you can just keep repeating yourself till your fingers go numb, but the facts remain, Oliseh failed miserably then actually ran away from Nigeria claiming 'witch craft' , now our main man Rohr had to clean up his mess and like a true NT coach, he just can't wait to have the quality of Enyeama back! Lets all clap for his stroke of genius, at least he's been able to stand up to the 'witches' that ran others out of the country
As for Oliseh, Witches and Rohr, we all know witches do not bother white people.

Re: KAYODE vs UZOHO
If Uzoho keeps starting for Deportivo he will make the WC squad. Haters and by that I mean Akpeyi supporters here can chop feces. This is not 2014 where garbage players like Agbim, Ruben Gabriel, Ameobi and Babatunde were selected. Now its all about merit and ability. Akpeyi's days as a Nigerian international are numbered.

Vince is not interested in returning ooooo. Until he changes his mind, this debate is academic!
