Rangers only home team to lose at home this week, I believe. Lost 1-2 to Akwa United.

EII,
Rangers were indeed the only team to lose yesterday but the Abia Vs Enyimba game that was abandoned yesterday and concluded today ended in a 1-4 loss for Abia, making it two home losses on matchday 20.
Pity about Rangers because we had started our gradual ascent out of the relegation zone only to be sucked back in. Yes, we have games in hand but we should never have lost to Akwa at home after a fine run of form.
Anyway, onto the next game against Kano Pillars on Wednesday in Enugu in a matchday 11 rescheduled fixture.

That Enugu game v Pillars may be too tricky for Rangers given that Pillars recently had like 12/13 or so games unbeaten (?) home and away.

Heartland doing the job. We will soon be in one of the continental spots at this rate.

Case of unlawful termination and indebtedness, LMC bans Heartland from transfers
Shouldn't affect their season though but could affect longer term plans if not promptly resolved

Enyimba are 6 points from 1st place with 3 games in hand, they've been winning so many game like 5 or 6

Am impressed by the quality of the football. Our next U20 and U23 should be all home based, the talent and quality is there, no need to be going to Europe to get age grade players.

This season started very well with the league table looking very promising but now it's all messed up. On to the next season.

Gotti,
Update, please. I thought Rangers lost yesterday 1-2. I think Rangers will finish mid-table when it is all said and done. Only chance for a trophy is the Cup.

The table is even more ‘messed up’ after today’s matches

Here is a table that gives the more precise positioning of teams based on average points per game played:
Now I see why you believe Rangers will finish mid-table. Since the day you used Dakkada to denigrate the great Enugu Rangers, I have loathed them and am happy to see them below Rangers . Hopefully it remains that way to the end of the season.

ukwala,
I was thinking of your Dakkada dig when I was doing the table and I knew it was coming. Just realize season is not over. Seriously, though, I was impressed with Dakkada's start but they probably had the biggest dive downwards after I did the re-calculation.

EII,
May their nosedive continue unabated to the end of the season. You hurt me with your comments and turned me against them (for no fault of theirs ).

Looking at the table, Rangers' true position is below #5 when the dust settles. Enyimba really will be much higher than their current sport. Enyimba should finish most likely among the top four teams.
