I think nerves getting better of monaco

The normally useless higuain chooses today to score  :boo:

Monaco need to snap out of it. As a neutral I wanted Monaco to score first so we would get an open game but now that the Italians are ahead we are going to get a predictable game

The boy must have a powerful juju man in Argentina. How he has lasted this long at the top is a mystery
If not for Higuain squandering great chance after great chance in major tournament finals, Argentina would have won a WC and a Copa America in the last 4 years. I really feel for Messi.

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

It seems the Roman traits of tight defensive formation has morphed into their football teams. Thanks you're not allowed to use swords on the pitch

pretty impressive setup by Juve - Monaco must be less cavalier with the ball - they need to score & get tighter defensively - Juve are truly the old lady!!!
If I give you a good wine, you will see how it tastes and after you ask where it comes from,'' ""To put players in my team who are not good enough will not strengthen the England team, and would weaken the Arsenal team.''The only thing I can say is that whenever England do not win it is always my fault, even when I am not at the game".Wenger said.

Monaco look in the ascendency now but final third letting them down

Seems Falcao earns his pay in the box. Outside of the 18 he is not really involved

They are generally on a lot less with one or two exceptions (Falcao).

Another peach from Dani Alves
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.
Scholes. UK Guardian 9/6/16
