North Africans are extra motivated to make it to Qatar. In hindsight we were lucky to avoid those buggers. They might have 4 of the 5 reps the way ish is going.

even 3-5-3 will be better than this....Bonke is not a DM, Aribo is useless deep move that guy forwards and see a player...

Bonke..Etebo or Bonke.. Onyeka base is whats needed....

BTW....Samu played 3 games, stank up the place three times.....what is he doing in the starting line-up? I can understand the AFCON as no ready made replacement but now you have Lookman and Dennis....

If we lose this first leg forget the WC....
Which is Egypt? Good or average? I recall we dominated them for 90 mins with this same 442.

Because SE is not Watford.
Its kinda dumb to play bench warmers in a rivalry game especially one like Ekong that plays like he has two leg legs sometimes even when active for his club. With 4 foreign raised starting again, I expect a slow no urgency disjointed buildup. I trust Amunike sha, he will be quick to yank players, its Egu am not sure of - seems like an extension of Rohr so far.

I hear you, but I'm ok with Kelechi starting. We have a stronger 11 (Yes, we miss Ndidi but we add Osimhen) than we did at ANC, and the bench is a LOT stronger as well. We will be fine.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Have you computed how many of those tackles led to free-kicks? If memory serves me right, he gave away the free-kick that led to Mahrez goal at ANC 2019. He is good, but don't gas him up that much. Easy does it.

This will probably be a tale of piss poor goalkeeping on both sides. :P
Fingers crossed.

I see you can only pick out one tackle that was costly.

Ndidi is one of our top performers. FACT! And he deserves a lot of credit.
