The Super Eagles of Nigeria trained for the second time ahead of their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers tie against Seychelles on Saturday, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Coach Gernot Rohr had the full compliment of all of the players with him in camp for the session and it lasted close to two hours with several drills, formation and tactics ahead of the game on Saturday.

Chanchung Yatai of China striker Odion Ighalo proved his present goal scoring run in China is no fluke as he found the back of the net more times than any other forward, who took part in the session.

However, Henry Onyekuru was very lively and his pace and skills proved too much to handle for the defenders he was up against same as Samuel Kalu who looks certain to start on Saturday.

Ogenyi Onazi was full of energy and commitment and judging by how they were lined up, he could possibly start alongside Wilfred Ndidi in the midfield against Seychelles after losing his starting spot during the World Cup in Russia.

As expected Leon Balogun was his cool, calm and assured self during the session, although the coaches are still searching for a perfect pair for the Brighton and Hove Albion defender in the heart of the defence of Nigeria.

It seems Rohr is using the defence I suggested in training

RB: Idowu
CB: Balogun
CB: Omeruo
LB: Collins

Reports on own goal say Kelechi has beaten Nwakali to the AM role. Don't like Kelechi in that role. With Iwobi and Mikel out I would have gone with Etebo in that role. Even though Etebo doesn't look that comfortable in that role.

and according to the same sources there is a 3 way battle for the flanks between Musa, Onyekuru, Kalu

Musa reportedly was doing best at scoring
Kalu was said to have better crossing and defending ability than Onyekuru, based on reports it looks like this will be how we lineup going back to a 433

*******************************************UZOHO*********************************************

IDOWU*************************BALOGUN********************OMERUO************************COLLINS

*************************************ONAZI***********NDIDI**************************************

*******************************************IHEANACHO*******************************************

MUSA**************************************************************************************KALU

********************************************IGHALO*********************************************

Honestly I cannot complain about this lineup given the players we have in camp

If Ighalo cannot find his form against Seychelles, he needs to be permanently discarded.

At some point I would like to see the following subs

ONYEKURU FOR MUSA
SIMY NWANKWO FOR IGHALO
NWAKALI FOR IHEANACHO

I hate comments like this. What do you know about this Seychelles team? Have you scouted them personally? Do you even know a single one of their players names???

This is the kind of chest pumping that got the USA into trouble and lose against Trinidad and Tobego, missing out on the WC

There are no minnows in football anymore. Anyone can beat anyone on a good day. People like you need to understand this quickly, before you are made to look foolish.

I hate comments like this. There are always minnows in football, that's why there are rankings of national teams. Also there are teams that you are supposed to beat. Obviously you can't just walk over to their pitch and expect to get 3 points and an easy win but when everything is clicking you should be winning games like this convincingly. If you realistically think Seychelles are our equal you really need to think again.

No minnows in football is bullshit. Big teams slacking is what it really is.

That looks Beau Vallon beach in Mahe but my guess could be wrong as there are many beaches in the Seychelles and they are all public spaces by law.

Seychelles is a paradise. It is my favourite place in the world and I have my favourite spot where I seat and enjoy with my family there. It is one of those places you spend time, you forget all your worries and you are so happy. The beauty of your surroundings and ambiance makes you so grateful and thankful for all you got.

The beaches are pure, white, lush, soft sand and the people are clean and very tidy. The water is pure but salty, I remember a villa I stayed with the balcony facing the ocean. Amongst the rocks you watch fish and all sorts.

However, you must also be very careful, some of those incredibly beautiful beaches are not for swimming because of the fierce currents, you must never try to swim where there are warnings not to do so.

My brother works there and I have put a player friend in touch with him.

It will be easy if we are professional in our approach and execution. We must not be lured into the sleepy, relaxed beauty of the Seychelles, we must not forget we have come for business and must be prepared to take care of business.
