KO: Utaka joins Eagles on Sunday: MISINFORMED
Lens of France forward John Utaka will join up with the rest of the Super Eagles squad training for the Nations Cup on Sunday after his team's weekend game against Nantes, www.kickoffnigeria.com has been informed.
Lens will host Nantes at home on Saturday and the World Cup ace has told officials that he will be onthe flight to Portugal the following day.
Utaka will be one of the late arrivals in camp along with the England-based pros led by skipper Austin 'JayJay' Okocha.
One of the latest arrivals in Faro, Tijjani Babangida told www.kickoffnigeria.com Monday night that he would have been in camp a lot earlier but for his son's illness.
"I have been battling to see that my boy is well again and I have even had to take he and his mum to mybrother in Barcelona (Haruna) while I join the team," Babangida told www.kickoffnigeria.com

This is not true and I have said in my previous post that John Utaka will play against Sochaux on 13th of Jan before heading off to the team on the 14th.
