Team news:
Duncan Ferguson and Wayne Rooney are dropped to the Everton bench - Francis Jeffers gets his chance up front instead.

Louis Saha is named in the Fulham team despite his fallout with manager Chris Coleman over his desire to move to Manchester United.

Southampton's outgoing boss Gordon Strachan prefers Brett Ormerod to the out-of-form Kevin Phillips, who has only netted twice this season.

Blackburn recall Dwight Yorke and give 22-year-old Jonathon Douglas only his second Premiership appreance.


Leeds give Nick Barmby his first start since last March and Salomon Olembe replaces Seth Johnson,

Anthony Gardener and Mauricco Taricco return to the Spurs defence and Freddie Kanoute makes his last appearance before departing for the African Cup of Nations.


Arsenal opt for Jeremie Aliadiere up front alongside Thierry Henry. Lauren comes in for the injured Kolo Toure and Ashley Cole is passed fit to play.

Middlesbrough's Mark Schwarzer passes a late fitness test to start in goal. Highly-rated winger Stewart Downing also makes the starting line up.
