Soccer: Free Entry For Angola-Nigéria Sunday Match
Luanda, 06/14 - The entry at Cidadela national stadium next Sunday, in Luanda, for the match between the national teams of Angola and of Nigeria will be free, announced today the Secretary General of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Délcio Costa.
The match counts for the second round of Group D of access to the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) and to the World Cup, to happen in Egypt and Germany, respectively in the year 2006.
According to the Secretary General, free entries aim at increasing the number of supporters to encourage the national team in the double campaign, adding that, the gates will be opened two hours before the match in order to avoid congestion.
With this measure, FAF wants to create more proximity between the crowd and the players, and this way help the national team to defeat the Nigerians.
Realting to the visiting team, Délcio Costa said that it is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, in a caravan made up by 35 people. The refereeing team, from Zambia, will arrive on Friday.
In the chase, Angola is in the fourth position with a single point, while Nigeria leads the group with three.
