Ashanti sends men wild
By staff writers
US pop sensation Ashanti romanced a male fan on the stage at the Abuja National Stadium over the weekend, only to spark wild scenes that saw her bundled off stage.
The 23-year-old singer was rushed out of the stage for safety by aids and security operatives as other male fan went hysterical while surging towards her to have their turn.
The lucky male fan who made it on stage was treated to a song by Ashanti and a bit of a touch up as she raised his shirt with one of her hands while he sat listening and, no doubt, wondering what was going to happen next.
But as it turned out, not much else did happen owing to he security scare created by his fellow fans.
Ashanti was part of a musical concert tagged Battle of Hope organised by Women Trafficking and Child Labour Education Foundation to boost the awareness and energise the efforts of different groups and agencies in the fight against HIV/AIDS scourge in Nigeria.
She has also recently been chosen to star in her first movie alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the basketball feature Coach Carter.

Where this one come from?
On a serious note though Naija should learn more on how to control crowd in events like this.
How many of these kinds of events take place in South Africa and yet nothing crazy happens. Only in Naija will crowd be so unruly.
