I can remember i said this about two weeks ago, where I mentioned it here that we should look at teams like Egypt and the bashers were saying Egypt is no match for Nigeria. Well don't be surprised if Egypt wins the nations cup. And i still maintain my point. Egypt will top group C

EW, what's your point? That Nigeria deserve to be ranked 4th or not? Assuming you post explains why Nigeria is ranked where she is, how does it explain Egypt being ranked 2nd, which is what most seem to be wondering?Eagle Winged wrote:We havent played any matches for nearly 6 months. Egypt has been flattered badly in this ranking. Playing a bunch of no hopers from Asia and Africa then coming away with outrageous scoreline does nothing to help them win the ANC. These guys have not improved from the last ANC as they have lost shamelessly when pitched against quality opposition. Their only recognizable win was against Senegal, and that was at home.
2 of the finest indigenous coaches Nigeria ever had lost in a space of 4 days. Dear Lord, is this a sign that you are taking away from us what we failed to appreciate? I pray for forgiveness of our sins. I pray for the humility to recognize our wrongs and the humbleness and wisdom to right our ways.

I'm explaining why Nigeria is 4th and Egypt is 2nd. Look at Egypts recent results; wins over Sweden, Senegal and South Africa. And look at all the friendlies they've played recently, while we've played none. Its a case of the tortoise and the hare.1naija wrote:EW, what's your point?
