Referees Fees: Too much or too little?

The Head of the Referees Commission in italy's Serie A today lamented that Serie A and Serie B referees have been getting the same amount of money per game since 1999. He advocated a slight increase.

The fees are approximately 5,000 Euros per game for Serie A matches and 2,500 Euros per game in Serie B. This obviously does not include full expenses being paid to get to and from the stadium, and all other expenses.

I don't know what to think about the amount. Is it a lot or too little?

That is alot. But when compared to what the players get, it is peanuts. Atleast the referees do the same running like football players.

Officiating is a part time job. Referees have other jobs.
