The one to watch out for in the Nations cup will be John Utaka.

Obafemi Martins plays for Inter Milan, but will not be playing at the Nations Cup

Keep an eye of Obafemi Martins, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, Seyi Olofinjana and Uche Kalu. They are the most promising to emerge from Nigeria since that last world cup.
Of course the likes of Aghahowa, Yobo, Udeze, Aiyegbeni, Osaze, and a few other have been on the scene for over two years now but are still quite young. This group should be quite ready for Germany in two years and together represent the immediate future of Nigerian football.

Friends were made when Japan and Nigeria played a game in August, last year.
Nigerian are not playing to J-League.However, KANU may play in Japan.
