Golden Eaglets Camp Gist: Gaiya visits Golden Eaglets, doles out N250k
Honourable Godfrey Gaiya, the Federal House of Representatives Committee on Sports’ Chairman, on Monday made a whistle-stop at the Golden Eaglets Princeville Hotel Camp in Calabar to witness firsthand the welfare of the team.
Gaiya who stayed behind in Calabar after watching the Super Eagles 2-0 spanking of Malawi in the 2014 World Cup qualifier at the weekend ,said it was expedient for him to visit the team in his
personal and official capacity, adding that the National Assembly is duly monitoring the progress of the team. Earlier on Sunday, Gaiya and his entourage including the trio of Honourable Adamu Gwari, Barrister Usman Ibrahim and Mr. Yaqub Ishaq watched the team beat Abuja-based Amakson Football Academy 4-2 at the U.
