Bako FC join league of private owned clubs in Nigeria Football League
Football remains the number one sport in Nigeria but running a successful football club in Nigeria remains a herculean task.
Though government owned clubs aren’t concerned about running a football club in a more professional way because of the way these clubs are structured. They’ve got so much funds to play around with yet they aren’t accountable.
Even in the midst of obvious challenges that has compelled some private owned clubs out of different football leagues in Nigeria some individuals are not ready to give up. “Change they say is constant” In recent times, we’ve seen some private owned clubs who have chosen to do things right, clubs like COD United of Lagos, DSS FC of Kaduna, ABS FC of Ilorin, etc.
