What has Obodo done to NFA? fans ask

As the last minute dropping of Peruggia of Italy sensation, Christian Obodo, continues to trouble the technical crew of the national team, football fans across the country have been wondering what offence the rising player committed against the leadership of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA).
This is against the background that the NFA Scribe, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, has been very critical of the player, even when he plays well for the national team. A case in point is the match between the U-23 and Namibia in the Olympics qualifier, when Ogunjobi condemned the player’s outing despite his above average performance in the game.
Ferdinand Ugwu, a keen soccer follower, said Ogunjobi needed to tell Nigerians what offence the player has committed against him as it has become obvious that he (Ogunjobi) does not like the face of the young man. “How can he explain the fact that he was busy begging Obafemi Martins, who refused to come to camp, while an equally talented player like Obodo was dismissed with a wave of the hand. It’s simply not fair the way the man is running the national team affairs on sentiments,” he said.
Teenage soccer follower, Tunji Ojo, also laid the blame of the drop of the player on the doorstep of the NFA secretariat. “My brother told me that they (NFA) are encouraging old men at the expense of younger players in the national team and that Chukwu has no control over the team. That is not good for the future of the national team,” he said. Meanwhile, indications are that the player may have been put on standby by the NFA in case any of the players injured is not ready for the championship. But Ogunjobi told Daily Independent during the week that there were no plans to draft new players into the team as the players currently in camp are fully fit for the Nations Cup assignment.

Do you wonder why Ogunjobi hates Obodo? Definitely Obodo has failed to
greese his palm adequately. I guess Obodo believes his skill and talent will gie him a free ride to the national team but he forgets about Nigerian factor. Whoever knows Obodo should advise to him add that factor to the equation then he will be able to solve his problem with Mr inefficient inept
incapable OGUNJOBI.Hopefully,Nigeria will never forgive this stupid fool if we loose this tournament insatiable greediness.
